Thumbs down Squeak, Squeak, Squeak

The car - 1991 Fairmont Ghia. The situation - new rotors, new bushes up front and complete hand brake system replaced. The timeline - Squeak started coming from rear right hand wheel before Christmas, after spending big cash had just about everything under car either replaced or adjusted, squeak still persisted and even got worse. A few weeks later a quick spray of WD40 on and around rear wheel - squeak disappeared. Last Saturday after hail storm squeak returned and up to today I have not been able to get rid of it and has gotten worse. Squeak disappeared on Friday of last week and has now returned to plague me.

I need answers, gentlemen and a fix to rid me once and forever of a squeak that not even turning the radio gets rid of

When you say it squeaks, how/when does it squeak? Does it do it when the wheel is turning? If so, may be your wheel bearing, or possibly a sticky caliper.
If it's when you go over bumps, it could be maybe a dud shocker or even a bush that doesn't have any grease on it.
Given that you say it's getting worse, i'd be leaning towards the wheel bearing... they aren't expensive to replace.

I have the same problem in my ED, it squeaks, sounds like from the back, hasnt gotten any worse. Wee have an idea that it may be a sticky caliper, as when i compress the brake and lift off the squeak goes, but when i just tap the brake the squeak seems to start back up?????

Exclamation Squeak, Squeak, Squeak

I have a feeling it maybe a sticky caliper and the wheel has to be moving to make the squeak - it sounds like metal on metal, but I am not sure.
Where do I have to spray the WD40 and obviously try to clean the calipers - any diagrams would be most gratefully accepted.

Thumbs up

could try putting some graphite powder aroun your brake caliper and disc and see if it gits rid of it, You can buy graphite powder from the local auto shop Ive found that it worked a treat in the past.
PS. dont use WD40 as it just burns off when it gets hot. :
