I dunno, to me the rear of the car still looks out of proportion, the wheels look way to small.

i dunno if it was the black tape that made it looked good but it does look pretty tough compared to the standard VE comodore, still not keen on the tail end though.

not the best looking, the suspension setup is like the 80's drag cars, jacked up in the rear and low in the front.....or it might look that way because of its fat a s s

Um, if you watch the Video its braking before turning into Lang Lang park. But must admit I thought that too when I first saw it.
I dont think people should be bagging the shape of the VE because the Falcon replacement is going to have similar lines

Haha, mabey we can expect facelift a few days after its launch? I think you're being too kind Jem - this should have come out in 2002.

Well IMO HSV havent made a good looking car since the VX clubbies, hope this looks half decent and not cheap looking like the VY/VZ models.

Seems rather odd that Drive only now just get to this segment of the original footage that was on the net last week. Its like they didn't know what they had until the LS1 site pointed it out for them, although the audio is different from the original.

Despite some dodgy Drive claims (4 speed in a HSV = Wrong) and (breaking 300kws for the first time, when LS2 is already 305 measured in DIN) the car looks good to my eyes.

These VE cars should have the biggest difference over the donor cars thus far for a HSV and break new ground for this type of operation.

I think the rear of it looks quite tough, reminds me of an M5 beamer, sleak and wingless. It will be interesting to see the final unconvered product and whether or not they add a spoiler or a bob tail style spoiler.
