Default Low voltage...need help!!!

hey everyone

well every time i try to start my xe (efi) on my volts meter, it shows im getting hardley any volts at all.( if you own a xd-xf, and you have the sports dash, its in the green level). does anyone have any idea's at all or any help, i really need to get it running.

At the risk of stating the obvious... what condition is the battery in? Tried a peak charge for it?

A good condition battery with the appropriate CCA shouldnt have any dramas starting the car, regardless of the condition the alternator/reg is in...

the battery is fine, i tested it and it came up almost full

alternator (or something to do with the alternator ie regulator/bushes) is cactus 100%

Battery.
Did you test the battery with a load or just a meter? A meter alone can read full voltage, it's not till you put a load (like a starter motor) on the battery that the volts drop.
