Default How was your day?

well seing as i have had a really bad day, i thought i would ask how was your day. To start my day off when i arrived at college i found out that it had flooded (just adding it is a 2.2 million pund building) and it had ruined all of my final graphics work for my show on thursday and it went down hill from there so you know it wasnt great :(

Found the neighbours dogs in my back yard at 1.15 this morning, pretty bad considering I had to get up for work at 3.30am, and it took me an hour to get the stupid mutts away from my dog and take them back home. Their owner wasn't impressed about it either.

I'm on the edge of loosing my job, then I will have to go through the 'unfair dismissal' BS after that! My manager has told me not to walk on egg shells. Which I guess will give them more of a reason to get me fired.

So my bad day has stretched over weeks.

Well it's nearly the end off the day, I had a good day, I helped my old man weld up the chassis on my sister's new car and then we polished it, over all it was a relaxing day.

I had the flu 3 weeks ago ... and it was running nose, throat screwed

this one it has me bad, running eyes, nose blocked to the point I have to breath out of my mouth(like last night), throat is a little annoying, feeling light-headed, i slept 12 hrs last night from 8pm to 8am (was nackered for no reason) and after 12 hrs , been feeling drousy since 7pm .. feels like i havn't been to sleep for 2 days :( - not taking any medication as I don't want to get myself anymore drousy like the first flu tablets which i was taking 3 weeks ago !

Woke up at 9. Went and got new pair of shoes (Globes, for $75? thank you) another hoodie, shirt.
Went to movies, caught up with 4 uni mates, mucked around with them for awhile. Took one for a 'spin (hour or so) in my car, gave it a bit of a hard time, all in good fun. Found out more about work problems. Went and got oil & filter to change that tomorrow, got home, couple of beers. CSI is now on.

Not too bad actually,

on the way to work this morning had a "executive" type pull up along side me at the lights in his new white Audi..... green and he is off, for a second i thought you got to be kidding me, I dont know what model it was (V6...V8?) but that it had twin exhausts, so....... moments later I am watching him - in the rear vision mirror :thebirds: flashing his lights at my girl as we say ...good bye

Sort of set the day up nicely

Peter

well i had an eventful day at Alton Towers (the UK's biggest theme park) there was complete mayhem at one of the rides crashed, it was a kids ride and the carrage broke apart doing a high speed and crashed into each other 4 adults were taken away in ambulance helecopters and 25 others were injured. and i was caught up in the middle of the crowds being evacuatd from the zone in which it took place. so it rendered my day there pointless

I got defected at 8:30 am yesterday morning for a bald rear tyre, fined for not displaying my rego on the bike. Damn cops everywhere! He was good though and didnt go over the bike too badly.

I went to get the tyre replaced and found out my brake caliper was broken and the brake was just sitting there. They wouldnt replace the tyre with it like that.

I had to fix it last night. $35 for a bracket. I have to take the bike passed Vicroads when the tyre is fixed so I had to buy $400 worth of stuff to make the bike look respectable again before I take it so they dont give me any hassles passing it.

So $170 for a tyre, $54 fine, $35 bracket and $400 worth of chain, sprockets, fork seals, fork oil, chain lube, motor oil, filter, sparkplugs and degreaser.

Yesterday cost me $659 :(
I was going to spend that on getting a Borg warner diff setup for my torana.

Not to bad a day, finish 1:30 on fridays. Had a 10 tonne steel plate snap a lifting chain and fall about 1 metre to the floor, loud BANG and alot of dust, an oxy tip blew itself apart while blowing a hole through 150 mm mild steel plate and finally my boss handed me $200 for looking after the joint while he was in Italy so not too bad at all.

Well today was pretty good thanks,

been working up north for the last week, drove into Broome this arvo, down to Cable Beach to see the sights _2: . Sitting here in my motel room dying to get back to Perth. My girl has been at the "Wizard of the West" workshop and he just had to send me an e-mail showing the results of her latest tune 355 rwkw and 770 nm torque :the_finge

I am sure he enjoys tormenting me, can't wait until I fly out tomorrow :

Nothing like being an addict and having an understanding supplier :Up_to_som

I've been off work for the past few days. So my day was fairly uneventful. Watched some springer, caught a movie. Oh yeah, the mother in law dropped over. That was probabbly the highlight of my day. Not!! :hihi:
