As far as I know unless you bought the whole cluster your speed reading will be out a little because of compressed km readout, maybe about -9%, which means you will need to recalibrate.

Do the Tickford Fascia's fit into a standard cluster?

A standard (low series) cluster is different to the Tickford (mid-series) cluster. The Tickford/mid-series (and high series) have oil and battery gauges whereas the low series doesn't.

Tickford fascias fit into standard XR clusters which is what Bucky would have. Just make sure it's the same series so all the warning lights line up correctly, the ebay silver ones seem to be always series 2/3. Good luck, Matt.

Thanks for the info guys. I've been after one of those for a while. White is my preference. So I've been following the ones on E-Bay. I've seen the non genuine ones the guy makes up. They look a bit dodgy and from a few of the reports on here, I'm glad I never bought one and I'm hanging out for one to come long.

Am a bit confused here... when you say 'standard' cluster I assume you mean Falcon/Forte/Futura cluster? Isn't a standard XR cluster still a Tickford cluster? Sorry if I've misunderstood but not sure what you have.

There is no "Tickford" fascia for a Forte. The white non genuine ones on ebay (without the Tickford wings) are available for Forte, Fairmont (220km/h) and XR/T-Series (240km/h) through that same seller.

There's also genuine (well.. looks genuine anyway) white (silver) Tickford winged fascias on ebaY that only suite AUII/AUIII XR. For someone with a blue AUII/III XR fascia, these would be a straight swap as the warning lamps are in the correct positions. Would aslo be a straight swap for someone with a AUIII TE50 as it also had the blue AUII/III XR fascia.
