Default Acquiring an ED XR6

Hi Everybody,

I'm going to be (a Ford owner) soon swapping my VR II Commodore Executive for an ED XR6. My car has only done about 151,000kms while the XR6 has done approx 115,000kms more than mine. Even still, I think its a pretty good deal. Mine is auto, his is manual.
Is it too many kms? I figure that the engine has had to have some work done to it to travel that many kms...I really don't have the funds to have an engine rebuilt or keep replacing things all the time. What do you think?

Falcons are good going for many hundreds of thousands of kms as long as the cooling system is looked after - for your sake I'd be hoping the head gasket's been changed recently and done properly.

I'd be checking things like the timing chain as well, I just picked one up as well 300000 on the clock timing chain snapped and the end result is a motor swap but as for the rest of the car, can't fault it
