Default XR8 Sprint Engine

Just wanted to know, what was the differences in the XR8 sprint engine and the normal V8 found in falcon's, futura's and Fairmont's. What exactly made the sprint produce the extra 30kw?

regards

Didn't the sprints get the cruddy press-bent headers same as all the other 5L's?

The sprint headders were not the same as the Std V8 E series ones. Agreed, that they were fairly limiting and very tight in places but they are not the same. They were made by HM at the time.

Yup, sprint headers are different. But still look restrictive (not sure how restrictive the acctual flow is though, havent seen any results)
