Default Exhaust fitment

Guys,

Have recently purchaced a brand new sports exhaust a shorty headers for my zetec. I was also given the advise to have it fitted by a professional exhaust outfit, just in case it requires any tricky tweeking etc. plus the fact that the header fitment is'nt easy anyway!

Now, I live in Brisbane and have approached two mainstream exhaust shops to see if they would carryout the fittment but they were both not keen to do it. They basically said that it's not one of THIER exhausts and could not garentee a good fit etc, etc.......

Does anyone know of a professional exhaust outfit in Brisbane that carryout this kind of BYO fitment ?

I don't know anyone.
Do you own any tools at all? You could try and do it yourself.
I've work out what needs to be done to the exhaust, so when I get the parts. I can do it myself.
All the best getting it fitted.

Sorry,

Got the headers off eBay at a bargain price. Don't know the manufacturer's name but they are stainless steel, mandrell bent with laser cut flanges. Quite good quality.

No, thats not what I have. I think they are 'race' headers that remove the CAT. My headers leave the CAT in place. Basically they are similar to the factory fit, but are a larger diameter and mandrell bent with laser cut flanges. I will get a pic for you to see.
