I never called the Fiesta a **** Box. If you know me from other forums, you will know that whenever someone is after a small, cheap, reliable and fun-to-drive hatch I ALWAYS recommend the Fiesta... without fail

And before I get into the logistics - my car isn't a lemon. Though, I'd love to throw heaps of lemons at the dealer :

Didn't you just call the CLIO a **** box?

Bah, the Fiesta I had was a **** box too because it used more fuel then it was supposed to, the water pump failed, the steering shaked at high speeds sometimes, a light switch failed, I couldn't open the bonnet AND the car was accumulating a list of dash rattles after 30,000kms. Does that mean I didn't like it? No

I called your clio a ****box because its had several warranty issues already. But your fiesta was the only one here that blew its water pump so it must just be you

Fiesta's water pump blew after driving on the freeway at 100km/h. Sorry, wasn't me.

Several warranty issues? Unless you can name each one, and the reasons for it, please stop claiming that the Clio is ****

Kroc - Congrats on your car!

Please enlighten me on what exactly you got again - from your signature I understand it is a WQ Fiesta Zetec. What colour? Any options?

Pie,

Many people in the uk have had water pump failure.

And a number of people on this forum in aus have had the failure too.

The Uk water pump failures were put down to a manufactering fault in early fiesta. So its very understandable for a few of the early ones brought over to oz to suffer from the problem. Im very surpried mine hasn't failed.

Just a Jeans Blue standard Zetec,

Its basically a 2nd car as i already have a Ford Territory as my playtoy.

The Fez is to replace an old clapped out Barina and to reduce our fuel bill with the boss doing about 400 od Ks a week to work and back. She will drive the fez to work and ill get MY CAR back lol

One thing i will say is that with the 2 cars being so physically different they are both a mountain of fun to drive.
