Well after waking up every 1 hour on the dot due to having the flu, I will be begining my mission with full steam a head, in cleaning the Fez ready for AFD. At 7:45am in sydney the weather is somewhat overcast but i can see the sun trying to seep through which is a good sign. Every online forcast is saying different things either Sunny @18 or Showers @ 16 wish they make up there mind.
Lucky for me I have a carport so if it does rain the detailing wont be a total loss. Anyways 8am the mission kicks off. I better start getting in the groove. Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow, hopefully in much better weather.

The sun is shining at 8:40, with sprinkles of drizzle around though. At least I can make a start on the interior. If the weather holds off, a slight wash to get rid of the hard crap, and then it'll be up to the Quick Detailer and cloths to keep her clean for tomorrow. (Either way, she's gonna get covered in dew or more crap overnight before the AFD).

It is sunshine here in Newy at the moment, to get things ready, but knowing the F3 like I do, it will rain somewhere on the way down later on today!

Yep, after work this arvo i'm gonna clean the old girl up and up the 2 decent 20's on the front and the other 2 inside the car, gonna swap them over when i get there as they're unsafe to drive on at the moment, looks like i'll be staying up in sydney tonight in newtown so i've gotta get from there to the meet point in the morning but should hopefully be able to figure that out without getting too lost

This rain is ****ting me. I managed to wash the car, and do 1 coat of the claybar b4 the rain forced me to hide in the garage. I still have the tech polish to do, Interior clean and the wheels. IF the rains don't stop im not sure what I can do.
This is exactly the reason I stoped caring in the first place

The rain is tough but just do what you can - the day is there to be enjoyed, don't overly stress too much. Those of us in Newy and Wollongong are having the same problems!
Tomorrow will be a great day out whatever happens ;) About to leave Newy with Lotsy in tow now Timmeh |

my update: after a hell busy day (that included a drive into the city in the pouring rain at 1030 and coming back at 1400 ****ing down rain again) I got to the Focus this afternoon at 1600, wash, top to bottom, chamois outside and door sills, then the big job. I am currently in the garage completing a full "pure polish" and "tech wax" with the orbital polisher.....started outside but quickly worked out that wax a dew do not work :S
Anyway, thinik the interior may have to be half *** effort (think I am going to run out of time, still got to watch the Doggies kick the Cowboys butt live on FOX :P ). have got the bbq out, hope there is enough gas (bags cooking first). other stuff is organised (I hope one part is, am waiting on confirmations) and will see you all at 0630 at Maccas... Todd

By the way, forecase from the Weather Bureau (trust this more than the others, especially tv idiots):
Forecast for Saturday evening Showers. Moderate south to southwest winds, fresh at times near the coast. Precis: Showers. Forecast for Sunday A shower or two, but fine for much of the time. Cloudy periods. South to southwest winds, freshening during the day. Precis: Shower or two. City: Min: 10 Max: 18 Parramatta: Min: 8 Max: 18 Terrey Hills: Min: 9 Max: 16 Penrith: Min: 7 Max: 19 Liverpool: Min: 6 Max: 19 Richmond: Min: 5 Max: 18 so my tip: its going to be wet roads in the morning, bring your quick detailer and micro cloths....
