Roughly? 14.6->15.4. [edit]You'll probably run out of rpm with the 3.9 gears. A mate of mine ran out of rpm with 3.5's.

Its a relatively stock 302 in a heavy coupe maybe 120rwkw id say high 15 but this is only a guess based on what you have said as far as engine specs but you have good gearing so maybe a mid 15

My guess would be about mid 15`s, the low gears wont make that much difference with the stockish driveline

Cool thanks ill post my dyno results on sunday night.

Ive raced a XR8 el and that runs 15's (15.10) that was with my old set up (2.92 gears and really sick 302 needed a clean up and service) and i just beat it.
Im hoping mid 14's to high 14's.

Im saving now for my other engine to get built hopefully ill get it in in a few months time before motorvation.

Thumbs up 302

That doesn't appear to be a stocker, may have a good exhaust though. I'm tipping the car weighs around 1600kg. 214hp at the wheels is about 210kw at the engine. Do the maths, 1600kg divied by 210kw is 7.6 kw per kg. Let's look at a 220kw AU XR8, 1650kg divided by 220kw is 7.5, those great great cars were good for a 14.8 stock from memory. I'm thinking a 14 is acheivable, put a 5 speed in it, drop your diff ratio to somewhere around 3.9 and slap on stickier tyes you'll get it.

Thats almost exactly the same power my little 302 made with stock heads (auto). I would be dissapointed if yours didn't run a 14.
At 1800kg, i managed to just get a 15.2, no way is an xa coupe going to weigh that much.

Im positive its not a 351 we checked the compression and its definatly a 302.

How much does a coupe weigh?

hopefully i can get into the high 14's now. The Drags open in two weeks time i think (11 days).

if it's LSD you might. Single spinner? You'll be stuck in the 15's.
