That would be cool with a turbo conversion.

The dash is interesting.. Personally I'd only settle for an 8 unless the I6 engine had some horn turbo setup with a shiny front-mount to be different.

I like it, wonder if it has enough clearance for a twin cam. Hate the interior though, should have left it original or changed the gauges to some Dakota digitals...

You know that more of those Mustangs were sold with a 6cyl than the V8s dont you? ;)
Ive thought about doing that too (with a Turbo), but to a later model Stang, one from the 80s. If it was a fastback id be seriously tempted in it...

A BA DOHC in only old school car would be awesome. Retro is very cool. You get the looks you want with the performance and driveability of a new engine. The dash I am not to sure about, would have left that myself, but it doesn't look that bad.

Rumour has it that a nice turbo AU motored Mustang will be hitting the streets very soon.

Not a fan, hate the dash, and the dual exhaust.
I'm suprised that this type of conversion is not done more often to a mustang. |

Anyone got pics of the Mustang with the AU Interior? And XR8 engine.
Now that was well done!
