Must have been the day for it yesterday.
Did mine in about 1.5 hours (5 years experience helps)

About the biggest pain was the programing of the thing, I've never liked the way vision program thier alams and this one was no different.

i got the alarm fitted when i bought the car...but yesterday i went and read the book and it says that you can program the alarm to lock the car 30 or 40 seconds after all the doors have been closed....you all probably knew this....i rarely read manuals lol....im not going to do it....just incase i lock my keys in the car :(

I agree. Absolutely none of the programming sequences to switch options (Like Blinker 30 second illumination, self alarming, and toggle chirps) on and off work. And I'm reading from the factory manual as well.

I think I'm going to give vision a call...

Yea I found the same thing. I even did my old trick with the iginition wire so you dont have to use the key and it sitll didnt work.

It seems to make a beeping noise after four or five turns and then shiits itself for about a minute. Then doesn't work...

Mines not doing that. It works its just a pain to change any of the settings.

Its flashing the indicators the right amount of times it just dosnt seem to change the settings.
