Default tickets to Steve Irwins funeral

I dont know if this has already been posted, but I heard you can buy tickets for Steve Irwins funeral. Now if this is correct, I dont agree with having to PAY to attend a funeral to comemorate his death and especially to make money from it. Is it me, or this this a tad wrong morally?

Whats your thoughts?

maybe the proceeds are going to his wildlife foundation thingy?

So it's a charity thing, not a money earner

Yeh i heard they are going to his charity!

Sounds fair enough to me considering the costs his family and the zoo are going to incur on the day.

i think they should charge for all the tickets its going to a good cause and the guy put so much into australia.. you can bet that there will be some sort of museium set up in the future that you'll have to go and pay to see, it'll be about his life story, and i bet every cent goes to charity, and good on them for it i say..

Yeah they are free guys, the only reason it is a ticketed event is due to it being held in his Crocoseam (sp?) which is a limited seating venue. There will be tv screens set up around the park for people to watch, it will also be televised live throughout Australia, Asia and the USA.

Thats correct. From what i have been told there is no set price, you make a donation of any type for a ticket. And they have limited it to four tickets per person.
