Short Notice - Liverpool Megacentre Car Show

Eddie from the Combined Ford Clubs has given us a very short notice invitation to the Liverpool Megacentre car show this weekend.

The positives is you get paid a minimum $30 to show off your car. The downside is it appears you have to leave your car on display for three days!


"The idea behind this show is to give back money to small & large Car Clubs alike for their participation in the show ie you will be paid to display your car not you pay a high entry fee which goes to some promoter to help him promote the show and/or into his pocket.
It is not just a Ford show but all brands & makes very much along the lines of Motorex without the high entry fee.
This is a real "turn back the clock" show to the old days when the show was fully sponsored no cost to the entrants plus the viewing public also get in for nothing.
There has been more room allocated for the show so I thought your club might be interested in join some of the CFC clubs at the show.
Show details:
Bump-in: From 12.00 noon Friday 29th September 2006 till 10.00/11.00pm
Show: Saturday 30th September 2006 9.00am to 5.30pm.
Show: Sunday 1st October 2006 10.00am to 5.00pm.
Bump-out: Sunday 1st October 2006 5.30pm till 10.00pm or Monday 2nd October 2006 6.00am till 4.00pm.
Security: There is only one way in & out for your cars
protection plus full 24 hours security. Clubs should rope off their area so attending public doesn't get to close to your cars.
Payment: The mini um return payment to entrants at the moment is $30.00. This may go up, but not down, by the time the show rolls round.
