Default NSW FF meet

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that the E series did NOT rule the day - we were seriously :

So many newer Fords that there were only 3 of us E series on the trip up to Bathurst. I will post pics of OUR cars on this forum in the next couple of days. There were plenty of pics taken of the OTHER cars :

I still wanna move to Melbourne - I would not have felt so outnumbered there!

Glad to hear it was a success. Credit to those 3 cars for representing us at all, we've seen worse in NSW. Let us know if there are any pics.

Yeah, the NSW part of the E-series club has always struggled to attract members to meets.

BTW, is there a link to any pics? :

Cool

Yeah, I was really impressed with the turn-out, and was a good cruise for my first.
I didnt chat much with all the others, they seemed to all know each other already, and had a lot more in common than us in EA's lol .
It shows how the cars have improved, especially when i got stuck out in front at one stage allong the bells line of road with a red GTP following close behind, I pushed mine as hard as it would go! and he looked like he was just cruising!
The weather as you can see was great the whole trip, and just set off all the colours of the XR's and FPV's. Cant wait for another cruise and meet up again.

Brent,

Yeah I hear ya bud.

I had this gorgeous red XR8 on my butt going up Bells Line... he kept his distance but I pushed the EA - she just didn't have the get up and go though - and he was just sitting there waiting patiently... and as soon as an overtaking lane came up he was OFF like I was standing still

It was really nice to be included in a huge line of Fords. I had washed the EA at 6.30am (the sun was just rising so I couldn't see very well) but she shone a bit in the sunshine, even without a polish.

I was there but not untill you guys had left unfortunatley ........... I am used to being the only E-Series on the NSW cruises .......

Bindi & Brent ...... dont panic about having your cars ..... Im sure you would have felt the feeling that you were accepted on the cruise no matter what you drove ........

Gotta love the feeling of pushing the old girls when you have a shiney new example on your rear end :P .... been there done that ....... And loved it ;) I actually travelled with a nice shiney AU ute from Orange ....... only reason he got there before me was windy roads & being stuck behind a caravan puller, the old wagon kept with him until there ........ & it wasnt the windy roads that lost me ....... :S

Let this be a lesson to all NSW'ers that yes we are accepted & have a ball on these cruises ........

Sounds like we may finally have a resurgence on our hands. Tim, MN and others did their absolute best but nonetheless we have been waiting for this day.
