EB games has the 6 stealth cars if you pre-order standard edition now. I ordered the collectors edition over a month ago it only comes with 5 chromeline cars and its $10 dearer....

Confused much?
Might ring EB tomorrow.

Oh yeah......... GO THE MIGHTY AU V8!!!!

I paid for the Signature Edition which will have the stealth and chromeline cars. And the small chance to win a real AMG SLS Gullwing (oh please ).

In GT4, on every 700th day, all the stealth cars were available in the 2nd hand showrooms (but no kms on the clock) so I wonder if the same thing will happen in GT5?

I will say this though, a Ford Forums F6 310 or GT 335 challenge around the Top Gear Test track would have been awesome !
Its not just the Australian cars missing that is the problem. There seems to be a lack of new cars in general. The newest (non race car) American Ford is the 06 GT. They've just re-used the GT4 list.

I do get that, but for me, I cant see the point in constsantly driving around in $hitter$ rather than full blown race cars. Yes it would be mildly amusing for a while but then it would wear thin being overtaken by a race prepped Mini !

I'm the opposite.

I get bored with the race cars, I can't compare them to anything i've ever driven. I spend 95% of the time driving unmodified road cars (or with minimal stuff that i'd do to the car if I owned it, exhaust etc...) Actually I think including race cars goes against what Gran Turismo stands for, it does call itself the real driving simulator not the real racing simulator. It doesn't bother me too much though.

Thursday mate. Most shops will be having midnight launches too. I think ozgameshop ships from the uk so I'm not surprised it's already been dispatched.

I'm expecting the call tomorrow.

I live out of town so will have to pick it up on the way to work, then suffer another 9 hours before I finally play it.

So much for perfection straight up. Now I have wait 2.5 hrs whilst it downloads a patch! Still better than not having it I suppose.

I know but 133mb is a fair size patch for day 1. Maybe I'm just annoyed at my adsl connection. (512/256) bring on the NBN.

Yeah...The 40min install time is going to see like hours as well!

Might go home quickly, chuck it in and then go to the bottleo and IGA to stock up for the night.

I'm taking Friday off to play it as well =P haha

I'm gonna get it. Gonna get a 900 Degree rotation steering wheel as well.
I want one with a clutch, but they cost to much.
Sucks how they have like 50 variants of the skyline, but no performance SUV's
No VW R36? either.
No BMW 8 Series!!!!!!

They are missing so many good cars.
Major disappointment

Here we go again...

[Insert generic comment about the car list being rubbish and how the game is a disappointment now because it doesn’t cater to my own very specific needs]

Looks like you can change paint, add custom graphics and add body kits to standard cars :-)

Disappointed about the damage model - hopefully they make it more realistic with a patch.
