Speaking as a normal punter,
From someone who knows the background to Wagga All Ford Day and has been to alot of shows as an entrant, spectator and in other roles. Austin and his team did an amazing job and should be proud of their efforts. All the entrants that put in the effort to attend should also be happy with their effort. Its dissappointing that a minority have voiced a negative opinion, however it would be a real shame to lose this event because of a few outspoken voices. If you are happy with the event Austin, run with it, its your show, you do the work, and you should be happy with the outcome. I will be there next year. (I even miss out on Sydney Chrysler day to go), the event has improved since 2005, and Iam sure you are working on improving it more, with a bit of support 2007 could be even better. In terms of judging. I was once told (By someone who has won more awards than most) if you are in it for trophies go down the shop and buy your own, its cheaper and you get to keep your friends. Anyway, its meant to be fun, so well done on a great day, both Austin, the helpers and entrants, and I for one will be looking forward to the next one. |

From memory that was the one done up as the Highway Pursuit vehicle? Had dash lights and strobes in the front airdam, looked great. A very novel display idea.

I had a few work and family commitments this year, the type where you can稚 be that far away from home. I also feel that my car is a little bit mainstream so I知 in the process of organising a new one. This will take a long time to build, however, it will be worth it. :
