Sad to say this but it also looks like someone tried to drop it into the dumpster behind it but found out it wasn't big enough...

That's the CLS-Class, to me they look very close to an AUIII Falcon.

The AU lends it self well into turning a coupe... and im not a fan of the AU sedan. The merc headlights were a bit of a let down though.

yes hiller bro's.. the fist piece of the conversion was awesome, stock falcon chopped to a 2 door.. then they had to ruin it with the front end change

That au coupe with the merc headlights looks like an au xr front end that has melted lol.
Although I'm not a fan of mixing and matching body kits, the green vy looks pretty good apart from the chev badge.

The VE lower bar on a VY could be something.

But when the VY, VZ and VE are pretty much looking the same I guess you could miss it. But as we all know Holden make their cars all loook soooooo different.

I see your frustration about the constant bagging off about Chev badges in this thread. I'm not the one who's solely responsible for it, nor did I start it, but I know next time to lay off on cars just because they have a Chevrolet badge on them. I did not deicide to post that pic just because of its Chev badge, I thought its incorrect front bumper bar made it look terrible, and the Monaro bonnet certainly help it either. So that's why I just went ahead and posted it, not because it has a Chevrolet badge on it.

Understood. The whole Chev badge thing has gotten so out of hand, and some of things posted in this thread are not really 'epic fails' as such. Half the time, i'm not sure if the car is the fail or the post.

Agreed mismatching panels, bars, lights and bonnets doesn't look good, but maybe check the BA/BF photo thread before bagging other people rides. There is a lot of mixing and matching going on over there too.

Assuming that it is a rapid BAII 6 spd manual with very dark tint, purple (phantom with a sparkle in the clear) highlights and a modern version of the original GT stripes in purple (close to phantom). Completely unmodified.
I would suggest not posting it here.

A members car?? Serious?? Yours maybe?

The Phantom as a stripe does not look a good match with Rapid. From a distance (50 metres) it looked horrid and gaudy but up close it may look alright. Each to their own I suppose.

I believe it was. Great looking car. So is the green coupe they did. Looks great just as a standard looking XR, with - 2 doors.
