Having my cat jump on my bed at 5am, he was soaked through, lol, so I got up put the heater on, then the billy, then dried my cat in front of the heater, he sounded like a diesel engine on idle, purrrrrring away!

Now that made me feel good, so did the 65 bucks I won in last night's lotto, lol, hahaha.

Cheers Billy.

haha slowsnake, funny storey being west to east coasts this morn.
I got up early this morn (chilly yes) and after having had my shower went back to room to get ready for work, woke up the Mrs's and she alarmingly woke feeling something curled up next to her legs under the blankets.
Our Lucky as he's called had crawled under the blankys keeping warm next to her legs LOL.....
Yes at times I think she does love him more than me after 30+yrs of marriage haha got nothing to feel jealous about that

On another made me feel good today BUT yesterday.
Went through the dreaded colonoscopy/endoscopy process - yep both ends vialated !
Got the all AOK clear but damn its a trying 24hrs + hrs fasting and you know what clearing out :(

Yesterday's target was 105. This equated to the minutes of sunshine a day that is recommended to reduce distress. 15 minutes by 7 days in a week is 105 minutes.

I achieved the target yesterday. Never thought I'd be able to do 105 pushups in one day!

Shoulders and arms are sore today, so I'm substituting them with situps and squats.
Onya mate, might as well do extras for us that post here, look forward to your progress report

I've had an endoscopy (both gastroscopy and colonoscopy in the one session) twice before. My old man passed away from stomach and intestinal cancer and I have suffered bouts of diverticulitis in the past, so doctor suggested it would be good to visually check the pipeworks out every five years.

Personally I found the process of drinking the cleansing liquid the hardest part! That stuff is so viscous and sweet that getting the required amount consumed within the required timeframe is bloody hard!

I just hope they used the scope at the top end first rather than the other way round. Wouldn't want to wake up with a terrible taste in the mouth

Don’t reckon it would make all that much difference!when I had a colonoscopy a couple of years back a few internal pressure washes didn’t seem to leave anything in the plumbing

I think the scare tactic of whats about to be inserted into your backside is a cover for the real horror that is the cleansing liquid.
My god, I had so much more to consume and nothing left to give, yet still it kept going, cringing with each burning, wanting to end, please god, end

I have to have them every 3 years, come around all to quickly.
I like how they give you the sleeping twilight drug, you can feel it cold going into your arm.
They get you to count backwards from 10, usually get to about 7.
I remember once the old Doc was a bit quick to insert it, I wasn't out yet, but before I could scream RAPE, I'd passed out.

Last night i was lazy, so i ordered a pizza for dinner. But i went a bit more fancy lazy and ordered from the local italian place. Yeah it cost a bit more then dominos, and delivery times are substantially longer. But it was good. Proper olives and they didnt skimp. Proper hot salami that had some kick to it. Just everything ingredients wise didnt seem to be pre processed.

Thats funny. When i started dating my then future ex wife, when she would stay over the family cat would wait till she fell asleep and sleep on her face. Then id get woken to get rid of the cat and close the door. A compromise had to be made as with a shut door the cat would scratch at the door all night. The cat learnt to sleep on the mrs's feet instead. Im guessing to the cat it was a way to take ownership of a new human.

Yeah, but my local always has a special and 15 minutes delivery is them dropping the ball. So sacrifice vs price and convenience. And they sorta sucker you in as theres no minimum spend for free delivery. So if you really wanted to be a tool, you could technically order a can of drink and get it delivered. The Italian place do charge $6 deribbery, but i typically order when its still peak hour traffic, but for the (never been to italy so i dont know what proper wog pizza is) more wog pizza, id rather pay as opposed to fighting traffic. And i dont have a reverse esky bag thing to keep things warm. So i just pay for the service.

A day of “feel good” things and I’m not even halfway done…

A long-running fiddly job has passed another stage nicely. I googled out of curiosity, a share-house friend from almost 25 years ago - she is now a successful artist and that comes despite her family. I’ve temporarily revived the blower fan in the daily, the bottom Oillite bush had oxidised onto the shaft. And a nice follow-up in the news after the big spilling of Robert Muir’s guts last year; he’s had shoulder surgery that was previously out of reach to someone of reduced means.

Plus the old bugger didn’t wet the bed. It’s a coin toss, that one.

Was the cat male or female?
You have to be careful when you introduce a new member to a cats "tribe" and the cat is your boss/leader wether you realise it or not, you are your cats slave/servant!..lol...And don't you forget it!

The cat was a female. She was a stray from the rspca but very territorial to her house. She was a funny one in that if a new person walked into the house with a family member she was fine, expecting pats and jumping on their lap etc. However if a 'new' person came in by themself, ie, say to someone when you get here the doors open, it was claws out. That cat had some serious trust issues towards to her complete strangers. But she was a good pet. Never left the property boundaries as it was her territory. She also would only eat the home brand tinned tuna, she wouldnt touch fancy cat food. Must have liked all the dolphin in the cheap stuff. She lasted 19 years, so a good trot.

I know the meaning, and technically its politically incorrect. It should be wop, for person...
But i used the term not in a racist way, but as an easy way to state i dunno what the proper authentic style of pizza actually is. Ive only ever travelled to china. Went from north to south. This was 20 years ago, but the food in china is vastly different to what you get at a chinese restaurant in Australia. And things vary from region to region.
