Hello Brad and Welcome. As above, try asking your question in the Post Classic Section as this is the Welcome thread and you will get a faster response there.

Hi Fellow Ford Tragics.

My name is Dave and I have had a few Fords over the years. Still have my trusty AU XR6 Ute for movin stuff, dump runs etc. I just sold my 2007 Rspec Typhoon which was a great car and will be missed. The new beast is the 'love it or hate it' Rspec GT with the out there red trim. I have attached a pic, unfortunately the 74 XY is a good mates but it looked good between the 2 black brutes!!! Cheers!
Dave

Hey all, sayin hello as u do when ur new !! Took delivery of the new RSPEC in HERO colors..traded my 2011 NITRO FPV 335, and had its first run to Marysville today.. Been a casual visitor to the site over the years but have now decided to join in.. Previous cars include many XY (mock ups etc) XB GT, XC, Pop up headlight LTd, Cappa Blown DL LTD, even tried the old LH SL/R - yeah I know...I faulted there.. Built most from ground up and have finally reached the last trade up I think.. RSPEC seems to have done it !!

Hi all!

New member here, looking forward to reading a wealth of Ford information. I got my first Ford 23 years ago and it was a 1976 XC Falcon, ex Police Interceptor that had been converted from a auto to a 4 speed close ratio top loader and running a mild 351C and a 9 inch 3.25:1 ratio. That was a fun car and in some respects I regret getting rid of it. I had it for 3 years, did it up and then got rid of it. If I only I knew how rare those type of cars would become... I then moved to a brand new 1993 Ford Falcon Futura Classic and kept that for about 12 odd years. During that time I ran it as a taxi for a while and after it got to 1.2 million km's (same engine, gearbox and diff) I thought it best to let it go. It had done it's time... I then moved to a 1995 Ford Fairmont which I still have. Love that car... Not sure how long I will have that one for. That's my Ford story!

Hi There. I've always been a Ford fan. Can't stand Holden.
My wifes car is a Focus Turbe Diesel. She loves it.
I just had to dispose of my Ford 40 Deluxe Ute since I didn't have the time or money to finish it. Damn shame.
I'm now considering a Ford Ranger XLT Auto.
Cheers,

Hey guys, been browsing the site for info when needed over the last few years so though its time i joined up and said gday....

Have had many falcons over the years and just recently decided its time to get back into it and have some fun.

Have just purchased 2 E series falcons to play with,

1st is an EB series 1 XR8 manual Pearl Black, gt40p heads, explorer lower manifold and j3 chip with 98 octane tune. Otherwise is totally stock. Currently undergoing a rebuild and will become a weekend warrior,

the other car is an ED XR6 also in pearl black, 6cyl auto, dual fuel only mod is pacey 4499 and full 2.5 exhaust.

More to come!

Hey all, I've been a bit of a browser but finally bit the bullet to join. My fathers been quite a Ford fan (XF Fairmont, NL Fairlane and now AUII Fairlane) so naturally it rubs off on me. I took ownership of his old NL Fairlane and considering how "reliable" it's been I'm sure you all will see me asking more than just a few questions in regards to it

Cheers!

Hello to all and sundry. I'm from Adelaide and not a serial killer. I have had a few Falcons over the last decade and was recently lucky enough to come across an unloved AU Mako ute (V8/5spd) which needs a lot of TLC. Here's to it's rebirth.

Cheers everyone:
Been browsing forum for about 6 weeks as was looking to buy a new car.Quite amazed as to the stacks of info available;looks to be some dedcicated;knowlegable owners out there thanks.
Well I end up buying an Ego sy turbo ghia which I think is an awsome looking car; have already debunged it. Amazing what a bit of steel pipe and a few golf balls can do?
Balls knocked the bung thru after loosening it with pipe. She sounds and runs so much smoother.
Wouldnt have known about mod if not for Aff.
Looking forward to cruising continued browsing and the odd post.
All the best for the new year to u all.
