Was one of these;

But I suppose it is a bit of poetic justice - how many Trans Am fronts were grafted onto Holdens and Valiant Drifters over the years....

Wishful thinking on the owners part perhaps?

Probably owns a GT but doesn't want to cough the plates up to the rego office cos the GT's not running/registerable yet. Although it's still quite a fail!

Well he tried bowtie badges and that did not make it fast enough so he lashed out for the fasted badges he could find (on his iPad in the hotspot at Maccas)

7 character plates arent common in Qld. They usually auction them off and that one probably would have fetched a bundle.

Apparently 'PORSCHE' went for $40k.

considering its a qld plate, they only do very limited runs of 7 digit plates at random times and they are 3k!... so the plates worth more than the car, he would get a fair amount if he tried to sell it on the market aswell being what it is and being a 7 digit plate, which are very rare in qld... as you cant just order them when you want

How much would it be worth if they were 7 letters??

yeah, the sale price of a GT (depending on the car of course) with those plates would get a few $$

probably worth 6mths of embarassing paparazzi style photos as such, until the plates are fitted to the appropriate car

They are Qld Prestige plates - pay for them once and you own them for good - whether or not they fitted to a car

Spotted this bloke and his EpicFailMobile(tm) the other night!

There was an unusual sobriety about him.
