G'day all

Been a member for a little while, but time to say hello.

I own a 2007 ford XR6 BFII, the very last of the bf series in the colour of breeze (green).

I had it updated with injected lpg dual fuel which has hardly affected performance. Looking forward to getting and sharing info in the near future.

It pulls a dual axle 2100kg caravan with ease, however rear suspension needs to be upgraded to lift the rear slightly under tow.

Great performance and a good looking car.

G'day all. Been fairly busy and have mostly lurked until now. I run an AUII XR8 Rebel standard 220kw Auto with low klms. Showing a little wear and tear from being parked in the street. Last of the 302ci Windsors and will be hanging onto it for a while to come.

Considering doing a project transplanting the running gear from an AUII XR8 220 or an AUIII XR8 220 to do a rebuild of an F100. Not sure it is vaiable yet.

Default Finally found the time

I've been into fords since 1981 when I bought my first car, ford anglia. I had 6 of these including 2 race cars - rally the circuit. Owned street and rally Escorts, cortina's and the moved onto XY's. I've had 3 XY's, still got one. Tidy unit 13 sec with a mild 351, has rack and pinion steering, LSD. It's more of a street fun machine.

Hi I'm neilst. I have a foot in both camps driving an EL Futura wagon with Tickford gas, 2.5" exhaust with 2.5" sports cat and pacemakers, and owning a 74 HJ Sandman van on club plates. Neither of these vehicles are in pristine condition but I keep them mechanically sound. Lots of wanna do's to my chariots but limited funs and motivation. Maybe if there are other EL tickford gas owners out there, someone may know where the elusive black to blue/white connection is that allows self calibrating of the tickford gas computer. I hope to spend more time browsing this site to pick up more tips on maitaining my old ford. Cheers.

Hi all, My name is Robert and I frequently read the forum for technical issues, rarely log in though. I do have issues from time to time, but I can usually find solutions to the problems by logging in. Having said that I do have issue with Ford not having dipsticks for their auto transmission. I know some "Dipsticks" were filling the transmission to overflowing, but a sealed unit is not good. As a consequence my 1998 Ford Fairmont wagon I just bought a couple of months ago has problems with slipping and I'll be it has something to do with the transmission oil! But enough of my ravings. My rides are the Ford Fairmont Au 1998 and Ford Fairlane AU 1999.

Hi Guys,
I joined this forum back in 2010 but did nothing about it then.
I live in south west Qld and have a 2002 AU3 1 Tonner, 2005 R51 Pathfinder Wagon, 2006 HZ79R Landcruiser trayback, 1975 HJ 45 Landcruiser Tray back, 1996 Camry Excutive Sedan and a 2012 VW Amarok twincab.
I love all these vehicles but my favorites are the AU3, HJ45 and the Amarok.
I look forward to joining your forums from time to time and have enjoyed reading your posts.
Cheers
Kel

Cool Re: Welcome to New Members - Post here to say gday!

hi all,
i'm a car person, not a computer person, so this is all very new to me. and from that statement you know i've been around for awhile, my first car was a xr 289 falcon, front drum brakes, we didn't have to stop back then! I've owned ute's to landau's. i am trying to restore a 70 mach 1, my handle should have given that away, the trouble is i bought a basket case and most of the parts are missing, so simple things like putting the doors back together is a pain. when it gets to much, i take my 67 'stang out for a run, it has a 200ci, 6, and a three speed top loader its suppose to white with a red interior, but someone painted it red. last year i bought a new gt-p which took me a lifetime to save up for, anyway in may this year, i think, i'm going to the fpv day so that should be fun.
cya. peter,
ps. i would post a photo but i don't know how to.

Hi Fordists. What happened to the pre-crossflow points distributor unit? Anyway, I have the manual (thank christ) UT Explorer, the Cologne hasn't missed a beat, but where the hell does one get rear brake lines. I bodgied a set with a flarer from Falcon parts, even the US sites are dim on actually having the part specific, it didn't even show up on the computer data parts schematics at the local Ford dealer.

Hi everybody: Hope I am doing this right. I have visited your forums in the past and never got around to joining just to slack I guess. I have been a ford owner for most of my driving life and have just bought my second Terry A SZ Titanium AWD and hope it will be as good as the previous one. Will need some help to get this one ready to tow our caravan. (Van Rear view Camera, Brake controller, etc.)

Hello
From NSW near Wagga.

I have a '03 Transit heavily modded...with XR8 seats in the front hehehe. It was a 12 seat bus but got engineered with 5 seats to save annual pit inspection.

Use it as a general run around as I don't need to race everywhere I go these days and also as a toy hauler for track bike and dirt bike. Have a mattress and sleeping bags installed so I can sleep easily on the road....well beside the road.

Hi everyone, I have a RTV ute, just been lurking around here looking for info about them and deciding whether I got a good buy. Had an XD for about ten years way back when loved it and am beginning to love my RTV. Between Fords I suffered Hyundai and Toyota but am glad to be back to Ford
