Hey mate.

I'm just wondering if I can install a Head Deck in my BA XR6?

I have normal sounds, not the premium and are looking to install a whole new sound
system from the Head Deck to the AMP to the Front and Rear stages as well as the Woofer. If you can help me out i'd be most appreciative.

i am assuming what you are trying to ado is bypassing the whole factory system. in this case job will be too messy and risky, this means cutting factory wiring looms and tapping on wires, we dont recommend or advise anyone to attempt this job, end up been too costly in case the ICC get blown. the best option we recommend is modifiying your own ICC to have RCA out and remote wire as well where it allows you to add amps sub woofers etc....

I'm looking at doing this conversion on my BA XR8, exactly what is needed to get this to work? I know you need the following:

LH Mirror with sensor and loom
Heater box modification including HIM module.

Not sure what else is needed, but will the ICC still work but be limited to what will work, like the duel air con, tempretures etc?

Also, would I need to take the unit to a ford dealer for reprogramming or can I simply transfer my BEM module and Remote Module from my old ICC to the new one?

Or, would I be better just going for the 6 stack CD with TFT and single AIR?

sorry we don't get involved in this mod.

we can upgraded you to the six cd player and tft with single zone using new and genuinr ford parts with 12 months warranty.

if upgrading directly from us there is no need to go back to a ford dealership. you would have to reuse your own bem and remote module regardless. they dont come with the upgrade.

I Drive BF MKII XR looking to upgrade stock Audio system to a complete solution with Colour screen (Current Blk n Wht) GPS and a Premium Sound with sub, bluetooth,mp3/ipod capability. I live in sydney can you please advice how much it will cost and what is the recomended installation method. I am not veru mechanically inclined but can follow instructions. would you recommend going through a dealer or is it easy enough(and cost effective) to remove ICC and send it you guys to upgrade and then install it back when finished. please advise. thanks in advance for your kind help.

we can upgrade you to have the color screen and 6cd player premium sound with rca mod line out on back of radio cd module for dedicated sub and amp plus a trigger wire. we can supply you with asl line conditioner which is amplified and has filter where it allows you to play ipod and mp3's as well. ASL nav all intergraded with the color screen and factory audio speakers can also be fitted to ur car. all our kits comes with instructions and any qualified tech can finish the job. please email me directly so i can send u some pics and pricing and also if u wish some fittment instructions, it might give u an idea.

And also does it come with Ford speakers or better aftermarket ones, if at all. And what is a breakdown of the cost too, and any extras

All it needs reprograming since sec code err on screen. Book you car in will beat this price by at least $100.00

I just purchased a BA XR6 , this has the satndard sound system ., small monochrome display... What i would like is the Larger TFT screen , i dont mind the single stack cd , i dont need the 6 stacker ...
But i would like the unit to be able to have a line for a Iphone ... is this possible, if so what sort of cost ?...and will the facia need to be changed over ??

we can upgrade you to have the single cd with the larger color screen. it comes complete with the facia radio cd module simply remove old one fit the new one, plug in and play. all ba's can have a mute phone option for incoming calls it will display media on the color screen and calls can be heard from factory car speakers if the correct pnoe kit purchased like the parrot er offer there is no need to cut and butcher any wires, again simply plug and play. $1250.00 as achangeover using new and genuine ford parts on the ICC.

Fadi, how can i tell if an ICC has manual climate control or auto climate control.
One imlooking at has upand down temp buttons on both sides does that make it a dual zone, therefore not fitting into my XT

Bare minimum:
- BA ICC w/Dual Zone
- Use your existing BEM (if you have auto headlights). Must do this so your car starts, unless you intend to get it towed to ford/auto elec.
- Must have Auto Headlights (climate control relies on sunload sensor)
- BA Dual Zone HIM and Secondary Airmix Motor. 2 x Heater flap driveshafts. Use your existing single zone heater box, it will all bolt in.
- Go to ford to remove the 'audio security error' which will happen when you install the new ICC into your car (~$50) .

Optional:
- LHS door loom and mirror. (you'll need to do some extra wiring to get it to work, as your xr8 wont have the temp sender wires going from the door, to the HIM)

you would need to retrain your car at a ford dealership to recognise that ur ICC been changed over. all depends if you do purchase the right ICC for your car.

Hey Fadi, just a question at this stage, I have a BA XT wagon with the standard single CD, single zone A/C and small green screen. I have seen the same looking ICC as mine only it has a larger glossy dark purple colour screen in it (not switched on). Is this the "TFT" screen that everyone talks about? If not, how many variations of the single CD/single zone A/C ICC's are there that have a colour screen, and are the colour screens all the same size and function?

correct it is a color screen, they are larger as well then the standard screen and they come single cd or 6cd player with tft screen.

all the color screens are the same sizes.
