You are staying off the grass/walls arent you................

Heres where the game needs more realisum, say you clip the wall, it should damage your car to the extent the actual impact would....Black flags/penaltys for grass short cuts should also be included.

Well in the actual game (in some instances), you get a 5 second penalty for hitting the wall etc (i.e. the car wont go above 1st gear for 5 seconds)... if only it did that in the time trial, then it might a little more realistic.

i think our friend sbutler jnr must be a member of B.L.A.T. racing (brake late and turn) because that is the only way of getting anywhere near his time i dont think it is as impossible as everyone is making out though!

The other thing here is that in order to post a time like that you have to have a very good knowledge of the track itself, this only comes with doing lap after lap after lap.

I certainly do not have that sort of time, my mrs keeps wanting to watch TV. Any way you have to have a good hold on the track before you get a time like that, I keep finding myself braking on a corner that I thought was sharper than it really was.

yes i agree with that and i think that is something that alot of people here seem to be over-looking just because they are struggling to even get close to 8 minutes doesnt mean that everyone else is putting the same amount of time into it i played it nearly all day today bar about 3 hours when i went to work and i have gone from 8.02 to 7.45 not in one go but after a S*%T load of laps so for those that want quicker times i suggest you play it more before doubting others times so much. just my opinion

yeah its a great game, whats p****d me off tho is to get to the extreme races you must do all the beginner/pro races, which is fine as i have just done the 10 race GT world series but cos i didnt win the damn series it wont let me into extreme that was just plain annoying !

now i have to go do all those 10 races again :(

I've pretty much given up on this comp, I've got so much more to do in GT mode. I'm happy with my 8'08
