First car i owned was a 1974 vj valiant ute that i put an ex speedway 265 hemi and 727 'flite auto. man that thig was a weapon for a paddock bomb. then for my first on road car i bought a 1995 EF Gli auto with 92000kms on the clock in 2003. it ended up being a boosted slammed weapon which the cops loved. it headbutted a rav 4 which was the end of it

1987 XF Fairmont
Stock as a rock, but was on LPG... 150,000km when I bought it (for about $4500 in 1999)

Was a good car, kept me going while I was on my P's... and the LPG tank meant that trips to the beach cost next to nothing (from memory gas was from 16.9c - 29.9c per litre) so we're talking $10-$15 a fill...

It ended up going to the graveyard... I sold it to a mate for $500 cos he was stuck for cash and had no car... and then he smashed it driving drunk (car rego still in my name) long story and caused lots of problems...

We ended up getting it towed away for $100... and i'm pretty sure its either in pieces all over VIC, or squashed into a little cube...

1988 EA S-Pac, 3spd Auto, CPI, 2.5in" catback.

Loved it to bits until my missus at the time decided to borrow it and lose control on a round-a-bout, mount the kerb and hit a parked car.

This last pic was after I refitted the front bar and patched up the radiator.

1999 AU Falcon wagon, the "Seedy wagon" ( if my name didn't already give that away)
The car never left me stranded anywhere, it was beautiful to drive and I just don't think my BA is ever going to live up to it!

The AU is an absolutely fantastic car to drive, great on fuel, but bad looking in the public eye, but to be honest, it grew on me :p

My first car was my a MK5 2004 Ford WP Fiesta Zetec 3-Door hatch is Diamond White. Had all the options, 16 inch alloys, full body kit, you name it. I put some blue XR4 stripes on her and she was a little ripper. I got her in 2007 with a few thousand on the clock. Sold up last year and got a new Fiesta

Cripes, well, I've had 14 cars since I got my license in 1986..... first car was a 1967 Automatic Mini that I paid $50 for.... the rest of the past fleet is as follows....

Automatic Mini (first car)
Manual Mini with Cooper S motor
Morris 1100 I swapped a carton of beer for
Volvo 144GL
ZH Fairlane I bought in Mt Isa and drove home to Brissie then sold (shouldn't have, she was a great car)
XB sedan ex-rally car (I painted Tank Girl's tank on the boot lid)
Holden HJ Utility
Toyota Hilux
XE Fairmont Ghia ESP - the only vehicle I wished I'd never sold :(
Ford F350 4WD ute - 7m long, 351 motor, perfect truck.
The first '62 Compact Fairlane (is now the show car)
The second '62 Compact Fairlane (my everyday driver)
Ford Courier Ute - at the price it was offered I couldn't NOT buy it!
My current baby, the XC Coupe, the car I always wanted from the age I first started being aware of cars: it has only taken me 30 years to get her

My first car was a DATSUN 200B. - It was the deluxe model because it had the vinal roof - so extra rust could accumulate.

It used more oil then fuel, but i loved it.

I was also lucky - It was Canary Yellow!!!

Look, performance wise, especially since my BA is a manual XT, I think the BA has it, but the steering in the BA I find a little heavy and vague compared to the AU.
Also the dicky electronic throttle on the BA is annoying.
There was just something about the AU's noticeable nimbleness over the BA, possibly due to the weight difference, that made it a very nice car to drive.

If I have trouble with my BA or crash it, I'll probably be looking at buying a late AU XR8 5-speeder for sure to replace it.

2002 AU3 SR 5sp manual Venom red (try find that combination anywhere).... in the family since new, i took over at 17yrs, paid for it with $18k of cash i saved instead of drinking it away

the best car ever, until a mazda bravo cleaned it up, and doolans crash repairs failed to do their job 7 times .... i wish i never traded it, id happily trade my XR8 for it back the way i had it...

1978 XC GS falcon sedan - british racing green in color straight as the day it rolled off the showroom floor cast head 250xflow T bar automatic had all the gear nice wheels nice stereo etc - I sold it because it was just too damn heavy and I wish it had powersteering and aircon - was a really good example relatively rust free and genuine low KM car - the guy I sold it to completely wrecked it even though it wasnt the fastest of things he managed to pitch it into a power pole glancing the whole side - never was it the same

1957 FE Holden Special. Nothing was particularly special until I put a 179 motor and floorshift in it. Oh yeah the back seat was good for entertaining.
It eventually rusted itself to death.
