Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site and have just purchased a XH van.
Going to be used mainly as a work vehicle (Road Pilot) so will be getting a minor deck out in back.
Looking for some ideas and van clubs in and around Melbourne.

Hi all, First time owner of Ford territory 2008 2WD GHIA. Can someone tell me whether a nudge bar from a 2004 Territory will fit my model? Or alternatively where you can source nudge bars for Territory 2008 models (again prefer used due to cost and sourced in NSW). Thanks

Gidday Bake. So the release buttons on either side of the tail gate handle don't work? Sounds like it may be an electrical/fuse issue if they don't work.

Hi Everyone,

Have recently picked up a 2003 LR focus Zetec 3 Dr. Having a ball driving it but i want to change the stereo to something that will play MP3, has aux/usb input and bluetooth, etc. I'm having trouble finding out what system is used by the steering wheel controls. i.e. canbus or analog system.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Cheers Reklaw, all is well, though it was bucketing down for my first drive home, glad the wipers work well. Very happy so far (300kms)

I can highly recommend the service I received at Jarvis Ford Hillcrest SA, ask for Daniel and let him know Pete sent you

G'day Ford Forum, Well, I've just purchased my 20th Ford, 10th Fairlane, this being a 2003 BA G220 5.4ltr 3v and I must say, by far, this is the BEST Fairlane V8 I've owned. I looooooove it. I wont go into all the nitty gritty of what it's got apart from being stock with overhead DVD and SatNav. Hopefully I get my tax back REAL soon so I can firstly get rid of the bogged up exhaust system on it and put on Hurricane Extractors, 200 Cats, 2 1/2" system, sports muffler and some nice twin tips which I will put on later after getting a XR8 bar and modify it to suit. Also on the change will be 3.5" CAI which I'm told is a real must for these Limo's. 25% Underpully and hopefully that will see me shy of $3500grand well spent.
Any more advice from you guys will be most appreciated. I've been emailing a guy from Brisbane that's got a 2003 Ghia 5.4ltr 3v and has been giving me lots of advice with these later model 5.4's but any other advice is most helpful.
Hope to chat with you guys soon.
Stay safe, Be smart and don't get caught, hee hee. Kev.

I forum readers, I've just joined as well and am looking forward to some of the to-ing and fro-ing that the forum has to offer. My wife and I own 3 '66 Mustangs two convertibles and a coupe, one Landau, an xe with stroker clevo C4 and nine inch, XR6 front end from a XG UTE and phase 5 bonnet, a stock AU Fairmont ghia and a FPV F6X. I'm having trouble with the Catalytic converter on our FPV F6X, and posted this thread earlier; " Can I ask if anyone knows of an after market cat for my F6X, genuine Ford including engine pipe is $1800 plus fitting. I only need the cat and thought a free flowing after market one would be better, but can't find one and I'm worried the rear oxygen sensor will throw the computer out and bring on the engine light/engine management and throw it out of wack. I know someone out there would be able to retune the computer but need some guidance. It is out of warranty. Cheers, Rob "

Hi Bake,
In my 2010 Territory , there is a wire pull with a tag saying "Boot", on it .
Situated in the centre of the tailgate.
I have a mesh Luggage Barrier installed , so would not be much good to me anyway in case of a failure to open the rear .
Regards

G'day For Forum!
My first post here. Been reading for a while and some really great info - thank you!
Own a BF MkII Egas wagon. Great car apart from the usual minor quirks. Do my own service so happy to tinker like most other posters here.
Have an issue where if going over 115kms on the highway the ABS light comes on. Stopping the car and turning it off and back on clears this. Have removed the ABS sensors and cleaned the furry crap off them but still doing it. OK around town or if doing only 110kph...yes i know, dont speed and no problem right...? I suspect one of the ABS sensors is a bit dicky. Anyone had similar issues?

G'day.
presently own a 2001 Ford Failane Ghia, best car ever had! Have had a few cars over the years, only ever owned two other Fords; First car was a 1954 Ford Consul. a few cars later I had a Ford XD sedan. Had great service out of both.
