Some of you may like this, but it's not my cup of tea. Good on the owner for doing something different, yada, yada. Holden Monaro with a Nissan 4.5ltr quad-cam 32valve v8 engine. 5spd manual. Looks like it has a bit of BA in it too. Apprarently the monaro was a repairable write off.

Spotted this in Berwick last night around 6.30pm..
Has an Ecotec V6 badge on the bootlid and BMWV6 plates.. Sounded very droney so it could well have had a V6 in it.. Is it a common conversion?

That BMW is for real. I ran the rego through the vic roads website and the engine number is VAxxxxxx, which is a vx/vy ecotec engine number.

So is it a popular conversion...? Why wouldn't the BMW 6 cyl be enough..?

Dont see a problem with the Commo V6 in the BMW, you seen what it costs to fix a BMW engine?
Buy a cheap 318i with a bung engine, put a V6 in it for a few grand and you got a decent car. An LS1 would be a better idea however....

seen this today on the way to the tip. he would have been hiking it down the hill. easily over 150kph. he was sideways for well over 200m. hit something at the intersection and took out the fence and roller door on the shed.
typical commodore with a stockie on the back and clear tail lights with red garnish
