Au XR8 ute- black auto purchased October 05. I got my first job at 13 so there was no excuse for purchasing a lesser veichle I got exactly what I wanted and paid for it myself. I'd reccomend waiting and saving for what you want opposed to settling for what you can afford at the time to any youngster headed for their first veichle.

Factory XD Falcon wagon with Black block 351, A/C, FMX power steer etc.. I had that back in the mid 90's. It was rebuilt before I got it. I paid $2500. The bad thing was it was brown with an orange stripe....

Dad got me an XE s-pak, 4-speed, 250 non EFI, minty condition, did 200+, 5 up down the highway.
Went from being a western NSW car to a Cairns/Palm Cove/Port Douglas lapping cruiser. Needless to say It rusted away.

HC Hillman Hunter Royal, I got it with a siezed GT engine. When I stripped it I was all confused because everything was brand new, but the 1/2 brain who built it left out a big end bearing shell, it spun and blocked off the oil gallery.
A good learning exercise for me though as I spent a stupid amount of time fixing everything on a regular basis.

1979 VB Commodore SL/E, Red, 253 on gas.

Had a hard time talking the old man into letting me have a V8 for my first car.
Damn older brothers made it hard for me. Got up to all sorts of mischeif in their V8's

Good old girl, sounded sweet with the twin exhaust on it too!
Ahhh memories.
