Fitted Kings SSL springs on the rear of the BF (the easy job), the front SL are still sitting in the garage waiting for next weekend when I have some time for them.

The rear is sitting at 340mm ATM but I suspect that it will change a bit when I fit the front and they all settle a bit.

Then its off for some bushes (WTF was Ford thinking fitting these pieces of rubbish) and a wheel alignment.

Also ran some Nulon Total Fuel System Cleaner through a tank of fuel, going by my dodgey calculations the fuel consumption has improved slightly.

Today I put fresh Penrite Pro Gear oil in my LSD diff and also did a service on my transmission. I also discovered that the front left shock is totally buggered so I'm in need of a new set of front shocks.

Worked on the old WB 253 ute. Ground down some rust in one sill, rust converted, fiberglass bog, primed, blew a coat of more Killrust over the top...

Hey, it's an old Aussie ute...the rougher they are, the better they look.... The worked 253 and shift kitted auto more than make up for the looks of it...

Picked up the terry from the place that replaced the LH front wheel hub and bearing.

Called NRMA when showing car features such as lights, stereo, reverse cams etc to its prospective and keen new/potential owner - resulting in new battery since old one had dead cell.

And finally.....Sold my Terry to above mentioned forum member for a good price (for both). Part of the proceeds went to filling up its replacement - the 4.6L V8 Explorer

Hi,
Today I replaced my tires for the second time.
I have gone from the Dunlop Sport Maxx's to Yokohama Advan Sports and have now gone with Goodyear F1 Directional 5.

With that out of the way I also got my battery replaced as it wasn't holding full charge.

After all that I decided it needed a good wash. With the sun shining it was nice to go for a spin in a nice clean car with a new set of boots and plenty of charge in the battery.

Haven't got anything planned for tomorrow

Cheers,

Chris

Hi do yourself a favour and ditch the standard air intake snorkel, get a xr one has bigger mouth intake and fit a hi-flo air cleaner, will definitely improve fuel consumption.Plus might give you a few more rwkw.
