Having a morning tea for RUOK day.
As a (sometimes severe) depression sufferer it was great to open up and speak honestly to the group. I urge others who suffer from mental health issues to do the same both for your own benefit and for others who might feel uncomfortable sharing until someone else does. Merc. |

Client had a picket fence felled by a branch from a tree loppers misfortune, said it’s ok, as a garage is about to go there. Asked me to finish the demolition, I took home 15mt worth of 1500 high hardwood pickets, which is exactly how many I need to go across my front yard. They would have cost a fortune to buy hardwood

Watching my cat do cat things, trying to work out his little plan for the day
Impossible, just as I thought I had it he changed his "modus operandi".... and cats do have them, little sly ****heads they are, but you can't say that in front of them, they seem to read your mind, but you always forgive em! Cheers Billy |

Been a long time between drinks, or shoeys, for him.
Good see Hamilton out and not the usual boring Mercs, 1,2.

…Using Google Translate to request an all-in price for some parts from Italy, without GST.
(Not so good, promptly being told they’re back-ordered until October! ) |

My rescue Magpie "Betty" has survived almost a month since release. Has started getting very white on the back of head - nape... Betty may be a boy! Has been joined by an outcast female for the past 2wks.... not sure if they were having a playful wrestle the other day or something else thought "she" would be dead by now. Lots of cunning attacks from the locals, but is holding its own & fighting back. Very interesting taking in the various strategies of the enemy... shock & awe with multiple staggered dive bombing, to sneaky pre dawn point men coming in. She actually rode one into the ground, after a quick dog-fight the other day, just like they did with her on the 1st failed release.

Bought a car battery in April 2017. “Hi-Tec” brand, DIN55T 530CCA. From memory about $140.
Thought it might be getting long in the tooth; charged it fully then left on a float two days. Consistently tested 685-715CCA on the load tester this afternoon. Very happy about that. In another four years it should be around 830-880CCA. |

Getting up tired after a bad night's sleep, then realising it's pension day, which means my fortnightly visit to my GP and opioid contract, so I use prepaid Telstra, mobile and tablet!
So I log in and pay my $20 bucks online, they ask for a $1 dollar extra to donate to a charity, of course I will, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, cool...... So pay my $20 bucks for data renewal for tablet, they ask for a $1 dollar extra to charity, of course I will, UNHCR for Afghani women, cool.... Of course I thought who going to ask next, beep beep, you got mail, go to Gmail account and see 4 receipts from Telstra, plus an extra one, from a person named " Jimmy Wales " asking for a repeat of my last donation of $5 bucks, I'm thinking Wales = Royal family....... No, Wales founder of Wikipedia, of course I accept and give my $5 bucks, gladly mind you, then would you like to add 36 cents to pay for the transaction instead of them, of course, am happy too! And the cats fast asleep in front of heater, its not cold, just habit, and yes I'm happy Cheers Billy |

For the past couple of days ive had an annoying splinter in my finger. Every time a little bit would stick out I'd grab the tweezers and that little bit would break off, so mission failed. Got it out today, it was a pretty good size too. Feels heaps better out then in.
