Need some input here....
When i eventually return to driving after back surgery, i need to do something about my drivers seat...... The base of it has broken again, but when i pulled it out a few months back, there were signs of it having been repaired before My two options are 1...getting a EL XR seat, which are $250, and get it re-bolstered to my comfort needs 2... get a BA XR seat for same price and fit the EL rails to it.. It has been done before, and i have pics to show..what u think

The bottom picture looks best Tony. I do hope the top interior is not yours.

Go the BA seats if you can. They are sturdy units and they fill the interior quite nicely.

I know you really want EB/ED XR seat, which is really hard to find. Post in Wanted section, you never know something might pop up.
If not, go with BA XR one. Much better than EL one, more comfy and better support and you can always re-trime it in a suede to match the rest of the interior.

if i was in your situation Tony i'd go for the BA due to the better lumber support, once you get it retrimmed in the same material it will fit in fairly good

Had my post-op 6 week appointment with my surgeon today, and i can finally get outta the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also can drive for the first time in 9 weeks..but only in small stints. Sitting after a small amount time still causes me some grief, so back to driving job is still un-known.

Is anyone planning on going to the HPR AFF event later this month?
I've been itching to go for a run and see what I can do down the quarter. I will be going on the Friday night to see what the car does normally and to get some experience with it all. If i make it through to the saturday, then i'll be in that too.
