Any Australian reviews on these yet?

I googled and only came up with that media day in Spain a fair while ago.

I saw a nitrous blue Mk 3 in Osborne Park the other - it had a personalised number plate, more or less describing what its model is...

Why did you change the wheels so quick?

We liked the forged black wheels that you could option up, but didn't want the super soft Michelin Cup tyres that came with the forged wheel.
They are great on track but marginal in wet weather and would not last 10,000klms.

So we opted for the standard wheel with Michelin pilot super sports - still a $450 tyre - but longer lasting and better in the wet.
The intention was always to go aftermarket wheels but swapping the tyres over.
The Mrs owns this car and her brief for wheels was aggressive bling.

Sold the OEM wheels to another RS owner from Melbourne.

I saw a Nitrous Blue with standard wheels the other day in Heidelberg, Melbourne. Looks great, though I think I prefer the look of the optional black wheels.

I think the dealer was glad to see it gone, too many people harassing them about a test drive. They eventually covered it up. Also, I was told that they can't sell anymore, even if you really want one.
I'll take some photos, but it will take time as I have a few things happening at the moment, not all good I might add.

Saw a great show on be-in (sp?) sports on Foxtel last night.

All about the development and building of the 2016 RS.

Great show, spoiled when a reporter at the global launch in Spain got out of the car and all he could say was seat was too high. WTF? Is there a seat vendetta against Ford???

I can tell you it was rejected a couple of times as they were trying to get it to sound just right. No more spoilers....

Worth watching fellas, Foxtel repeat everything 1000 times so keep an eye out.

I agree, the seats in the ST are way to narrow for me....they may be better in the RS.

I agree the seats are designed for a smaller driver.
But in saying that if I was a smaller driver 70 to 80kg the seats would be exactly correct

I'm 110kg at 186cm; I fit comfortably enough in the Focus RS seats. Much much more comfortable than our Megane RS which will get replaced by the Focus RS on delivery.

Hi
Currently have an ST and thinking of changing to RS. Can someone tell me what adjustments are on the front seats? Only 2 way according to specs.
So, height and slide? Does the back of the seat adjust?
And cannot choose between white and blue (love my TS colour on the ST).

Cheers

Slide and back of seat only.
No height adjustment.
PS. Car is a ball tearer.

189cm and 95kg here, ST seats are just right for me too. Seen Shmee150's youtube clips picking up and driving in his RS, now I'm even more inspired to get one

Hope you don't mind the wait, reports are that it will take up to 18 months from time of ordering?

I can't speak for everyone else, but I won't be in the market to buy a new car for another 2.5 years anyway, so it's not a big deal for me. I can understand a lot of people getting frustrated at such a lead time though, as would I if I was in the market right now.

My frustration has finally come to an end :-) a certain black RS should be cruising the streets of Sydney early September wearing the plates 'N RS 23T' if the Asian King car ship goes the distance

No, will put up with the wait., the ST will keep me happy in the meantime. I have had that for three years and love it. We are friends/next door neighbours with the local Ford dealer. Saw one in the flesh (white) and it is very nice.
Also I think I need to sit in one first to make sure the seat will be okay (I am short).

My wife is about 5' 4" and loves the seating.
I'm 5' 9" and also have no problem.

P.S., it's worth the wait!
