Gee whiz, I think Robin Williams had a few drinks before that. It was great though. And that ventriloquist, amazing.

But I understand the Chaser is staying with auntie ABC this year and will be shown in prime time (as opposed to the "convenient time of 10:55"). The Chaser is how comedy should be.

Chasers...great show. Good fun, irresponsible, smart-bottoms and wisecracks.

Hey guys! just wondering, regarding VTEC. I hear all these school kids at work talking about how they love VTEC and how u can feel it 'kicks in'... I thought VTEC was just to do with valve timing? isnt it the same as VVTi? so my question is, can you really feel it 'kick in' (similar to a turbo)? i was telling them that you cant and that it just makes the car rev higher... can anyone fill me in on this? thnx
as for teh video... |

Honda first created "VTEC" which kicks in at 4,500RPM, some are DOHC and others are SOHC.
Toyota, Suzuki and a few others have VVTi, however this is VTEC but doesn't open up as much and isn't as noticable. Toyota came out with VVTi-L (Variable Valve Timing Intake Lift) which kicks in at 6,000RPM. Nissan brought out Neo-VVL (Variable Valve Lift) which kicks in at 5,000RPM and the SR20VE has over 200hp! |
