Might be in with a bit of luck, no one wants a 1UR-FE Cruiser but the owners of those will be laughing all the way to the bank when they dont have to stump up $10,000 worth of injectors.

Low km's on an unregistered car and a non-runner don't excite me that much, also bet that driver seat is shot and with the condition of the paint. Be interested to see what it does make

And even fewer people want the LX570 with an extra 100nm and 60kw over the 1UR while returning similar fuel consumption to the diesel thong slappa.

I think they've got a 5K reserve on it, no bids so far.

Now URJ202's were always the smart pick, but only about 5% of sales... so we might not see them at auction often.
Carsales has the 2013ish ones listed at 60s+, the last ones (2017 or 2018) now have 100K asks!

Plus there's that linear power delivery so nice on sand.

Yes, they really look like a seventies Crown on the side view.

They've only had limited updates through the years, I think there's only three generations.

This is the 1990s one, looks even more oldskool:

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/det...14195037/?Cr=0

This is the current generation:

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/det...0993900/?Cr=16

They give off Eastern European dictator vibes to me.

Check out the instrument cluster on the 1990s job, looks like a VCR display

The two door looks better, but this 4 door xp has the basics. Just needs some attention to detail and more consistent styling throughout.

I'm surprised at the price of XP Falcons, they're a hell of a lot less than the typical XW/XY and the other 1970s Falcons.

GT factor pushes up everything else.

Nothing wrong with a XL-P but they just dont have the same following and were still very heavily based on the US design (looks).

They’ve done a pretty good job at pulling off the current model imo.
Better than the FJ Cruiser anyway.

BMW 535is at $32k.

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/det...SE-AD-12390099

540i 6spd at $39k. Although I wouldn’t pay that price because of the grey interior.

This might be a subjective point but the XL-P don't often look 'tough'. Not in the same way an XR-XY does, whimpy in the same way a 63 Thunderbird kinda does.

Not to say they're not cool or anything, they just don't have that hard *** personality about 'em, mostly.

Except Aaron's one..
