Hi all,
Just new to FORD FORUMS.
Been in the automotive industry for over 16 years, I'm a workshop manager in Reynella at the moment and have one blue eye.
Currently i'm the second owner of a series 3 AU XR6, 5-speed manual and very original, left it that way as it's the last line of TICKFORD.

Sooo its been a while since ive been on here, no longer have the fairlane, Got my hands on a 93 EB XR6 5spd. similar kms to the old "slowlane" but a lot more get up n go and that awesome feel of knowing exactly what the car will do when that only comes with a manual transmission...

In other news, my fiance and i will pick up our new pride and joy tomorrow.
She is swapping her 2002 subaru forester 2.0L auto (slow as all *****) for a Red 2004 BA XR6 dual fuel auto ...
So happy about this swap and we are finally getting into a really nice ford for a change... dont get me wrong i love my xr6 and the 'slowlane' was good fun but theres just something about the ba-bf series cars that i love...

I think my fiance has joined up on here as MzJatz or something like that. anyways. I will be here more often now as now ive got 2 of these monsters to maintain cant wait

Hi all,

Have been to the sit a number of times and find it helpful, useful and humorous - keep up the good work.

I have a BF Mk11 Futura and I have come to this site to get some help with a heater problem - from what I have read it seems that it is a mixer shaft problem.

Does anyone know of someone who can fix this problem on the Sunshine Coast QLD for a reasonable cost - I do understand that the dash has to come out and that means time and money.

Thanks,

Steve

AFF is a massive resource, but if you get lost wandering through the place don't be afraid to ask an Admin or Mod for help.

Have fun.

Hey Fellow Ford Forums Guru's, thank you for letting me be apart of this awesome research forum, i would also like to mention that i am a big time newbie to "Fords", as for i am a true holden boy, but do not hold that against me, i am not one eyed. lol. But as my missus is a ford girl and she has just brought herself a 05 MKII futura, with some interesting features, i'll be the one to look after it.

And just by browsing last night this site is packed with awesome technical info, that we can all use.

so thank you once again, and hello, from Matt and Steph

Hi guys this is my first post on here 👍 and I'm the new owner of a au falcon ute xl 2001 .
I got the ute with a transmission fault!!!!! (But it was cheap).
So first question: what could be the problem?????
It drives but clunks and jumps in and out of gear and slips...
Ive topped the transmission oil up but that didn't work so apart from new box what else could it be???? Any advise would be great guys 👍😃👍 witty

Cool Re: Welcome to New Members - Post here to say gday!

Hi AFF members I've just joined and look forward to getting some advice, help and fellowship from like minded owners.
I am the proud owner of a '05 BA II GT which was my company car and daily driver for 8 years but is now in retirement.
Slowly but surely it'll get some love to tidy up the love taps and character lines it got as a workhorse in my job.
I removed the stripes and decals when they started to peel and want to replace them with door badges.
Everywhere I look I can only see red/chrome GT badges but I need blue/chrome to match the one on the boot lid.
I'd also like to mount a grille badge even if it isn't model correct.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Cheers
