geez thats not bad at all then. Sounds like about a days work then???

I guess it just about following the instructions and throwing a few spanners around to get it right.

Oh and no doubt making sure I have the right sized exhaust too. ;)

I put mine in in a few hours on the Easter weekend without instructions whilst umpiring my 2 children jacked up on Easter eggs.
It's not that hard.

That impressive to say the least. For those that arent hugely mechanically minded, I'd allow a day.

Tim has mentioned about 3 hours to fit, but then he'd be able to do them in his sleep. With the AU I6 there is an electronic gadget that requires cutting & joining 2 wires between the TMAP sensor and ECU to prevent engine shutdown on boost. I reckon I'd probably take the best part of a day, now I've had a look at the kit in the metal (and plastic etc), but I work slowly and methodically. Tim mentioned on Fordmods that a set of circlip pliers is the only "special" tool needed - to fit the fuel reg. Which reminds me there wasn't a reg in my kit. I'll have to PM him...

Someone like KPM would have it in and out in less than a day, maybe 6 hours / $500 tops.

Tim has started a poll on Fordmods for members to vote on which model Windsor to do first. So far it looks like EB-EL (all the same?) is ahead of AU. Poll is here
