Noticed the Proline belted tyre in the Ad, stated they're speed, rev limited as the belt may separate!

Yeah & pricing doesn't make painting the shells worth while, if they offer the option, most of the time.

Bit ham fisted, but managed to trim a little around the front wheels (hard to tell ive even done it). May need more.
Possibly in the rear also. Will go to bunnos and get some gorilla tape to put on the inside of the top of the rear guards as the tyres rub through the paint. Im trying to leaning for my mistakes with the last shell as i tried to fix/prevent issues after they'd happened.

Looks good to me! & more aggressive. May be just round off the right angle corners slightly. Like the rim, tyre combo.

Yep that tape will definitely prolong its life.

Check the spec of your receiver. The reciever in my monster truck is only rated to not crap out with a max of a 23kg steering servo. So i have a power hd 23kg servo in it.
So check that out. Also, and i know this, your esc, you can change bec voltage. Thats the voltage your esc supplies to the receiver and receiver then powers the steering servo. Nerdy stuff i know, but do your research so you either make things work optimally and dont let electronics release their life smoke. Yes, its a fact, electronics work on smoke. If the smoke is released, electronics die.

Did the front Diff today with 50k oil weight & all kosher on the HD side. Shimmed from factory & all good in that respect.

Diff had less than half of correct oil volume. Have heard a number of complaints on this.

Correct amount of oil in rear & looks, feels good. Changed my mind on running stock 10 weight in there.

Gonna mix some 10 & 50.

No. No cordless squirrel unless you enjoy stripping out threads or rounding out screw heads.

Centre Diff done with 300k oil.... oil level & play were correct.

Anyone doing the LSD's on these, the main thing to be careful of is the orientation of the plates.

One side of each of the 6 plates, 3 each side, is slightly rounded off on the edges & those rounded off smoother sides must face into the Diff centre.

There isn't any instructions in the handbook on this.

Looking forward to trying it out, with the stiffer diffs.

Then up the power. Still only on Punch 3 of the 5 settings.

The net kept out 98% of rubbish & did'nt catch fire!

Fans made all the difference... glad i got them.

Diff action improved with inner front not ballooning.

Had a quick couple of pulls on clean bitumen & couldn't induce the front wheels to leave the ground.
Will up punch to 4 & then 5 in the next runs. If it still wont pop a wheelie, will up the rear diff weight to 50k.

Dont want it popping wheelies everytime the throttle is punched, but would like it right on the edge, so will slowly " creep up on it.

My net arrived for me Mojave. Its not the best fit around the rear, but i works.

Took it to the bottom of some local bike trails i ride, been there before with my Baja too. Super fun.
Someones made a jump, if the consequences of missing wasnt so great id have sent it off there, not sure flat out into a concrete block is ideal.

The shell around the tail lights has started to split which is annoying, if it gets bad ill just cut that section out!
Also might order some cooling for it, was quite warm out today so it would have been hot.

I reckon you could make that jump!

Noticed the difference running fans, as soon as i grabbed the car after the 1st run, even the chassis was cool compared to before & big difference with the motor.

One fan would be fine i'd say..... only way i could orientate those particular fans was tight, leaving only a couple of mm clearance with both the engine mount & power wires. Could clearance the mount a little if needed.

Couldn't help but notice the Commiefornia number plates, hope it hasn't been bogged down with emissions.

Looks good. C10.

Got a pair of little 3s 2200mah 80c Ovonic batteries... ebay $50 for the Crawler.
Ec3 plugs this time & the charger has adapters for that.

Tyres are usually the 1st upgrade on these, but these ones are known good ones, soft & sticky!

After lots of beeping & flashing lights & button pressing, got the Mojave ESC into Punch 4 mode & it upped the receiver power from 6 to 7.2v, which made quite a difference to the steering servo & cooling fans speed..... PITA, doing it that way, def getting a tuning box.

Spend the extra on the white one with the proper display. Do it once, do it right.

Added bonus, not that i have ever used this feature of the wizard box as im a set and forget person, pretty sure with the box of wizard if you install the hobbywing program on your computer you can save various settings and crap. I think you can do that on the card anyways if its the fancy one like i have, but it seems more professional doing on a craptop.
