Great plug for the show. I saw Hoops and Shorties cars. And another one of the ACT guys. Must have been footage taken from 2 years ago. Good stuff. Well done Austin. |

Keep 'em coming! Getting entry forms coming in most days of the week now but only 1 or 2!
I'll be knocking up the final design for the posters tonight, once they're done I will post them up here for people to download, and they'll be going to the printers first thing Monday Morning.

Oh one more thing - best to book your accomodation soon. As far as I am aware there is one other event on in Wagga the day after ours, but it probably wont be as big. There is around 2600 rooms in the city, but get in early to avoid disappointment. The accomodation thread is a sticky in the NSW/QLD events forum.

Hi all,
A few changes have been made to the judging process of the show. Basically, we wont be awarding trophies on the day. Why you ask? Simple really. The day is all about having fun, meeting new people and admiring nice cars - its not a competition or a trophy race, and by eliminatiing trophies and judging etc we eliminate any bad aspects that come with overcompetitiveness, sore losers etc. Instead, every vehicle entered into the day gets a certificate of appreciation to say thanks for putting in the effort to get your car there and on display. Each owner will also automatically go into the running to win a number of fantastic prizes (winner chosen at random) from Themboys Auto (thanks Pete), with more on the way. So it's still certainly worth entering. I hope this doesnt upset or affect anybody's plans for coming to the show and putting your car in. If it does, I would suggest very nicely to re-evaluate your reasons for coming. Come and join us for what will be a very fun day with lots to see!

what kind of ramp are we talking? There is one on site which was actually purpose built to unload horses from trailers etc so its too high to put a regular car onto a trailer etc. Im guessing you mean some sort of ramp to back a trailer up to and drive a car on/off?

Hi all,
re Laminge's offer of paying the entry fee for forum members - the next 25 people to PM me and indicate they are coming will have their entry fees waived. Now, a few conditions:- *please only do this if you are 100% sure you will be coming and displaying your car; *you MUST be a forum member, this offer does not apply to anybody else; * you must indicate on your entry form that your entry fee has been waived by this offer. * before your entry form is sent away you must PM me and get on the list - if youre not on the list and your form comes without the entry fee I will be looking for it on the day! Once we've got the 25 people I will advise of this here and after that, if you want to enter your car, you will have to pay the entry fee ($10). Remember though that the more money we raise the more we can help those less fortunate than us, so let's do the best we can. Cheers!
