Yes you're right. The only Holden that isn't a "bitsa" is the VE. Everything else is just foreign GM.

Angry Re: Epic Fail's - Car related....

Can you guys please give it a rest. who cares if holden owners put chev badges on or chev owners put holdenbadges on. I have been following this thread for ages and it is bloody fantastic. All you guys are going to acheive is getting it shut down.

If you dont own a holden who cares???? and if you do and have a chev badge on it, who cares??????

to hell with this, im now going to put a nissan badge on my XR6 because it has absolutly nothing to do with ford...... same as these antics have nothing to do with this post.!!!!!!!!

And to finish my rant.... i still think holden badge looks great with my Ford.... in the rear view mirror!

Like gosh guys, who cares if you don't like the guys rice wing. Or the other guys stickers.

Better not post what you think is a fail, it has to be a fail according to everyone else too.

Do you have your rear view mirror around the other mate allowing the guy in the Commodore that's ahead of you to admire his badge in your mirror?

Mazda Fail

The interior was all the same light blue he has used on the outside. Must have cost him a fortune. Thing that gets me is the guy was in his late 30's....... how do ya get to that age and still have no clue what looks good and what looks straight out gross.

My eyes must be better than yours, looks like SDB-68 to me. So presumably the guy was born in 1968... who'd have thought someone could reach that age and still know no better?

I just wish i could have gotten more photo's of it. The inside has had major $$$ spent on it by the looks. But that light blue just kills it. As for the outside.........

I shouldn't, but I will stir the pot and try to put it to rest....

Let me start by honestly stating that I was going to put a Cadillac emblem on the bonnet of my $800 WB DeVille (which I thought would be subtle, humourous, cool and cheaper than a genuine GMH part) but since that would put me in an epic fail thread I may reconsider. May I also mention that I have a friend (let me mention he saved my XP from the scrapper with ace welding ability) that has a HQ coupe that he purchased as a bare shell for $50 10 years ago, put a 350 Chev in it, resprayed it and put a set of Convo Pros on it, to a total cost on the road for under $12K, but it has a Springnats 2001 sticker on the screen and also has a Bowtie on the grille as was the trend back then, would post a pic yet by these standards would also be a fail..... I guess that I am tempted and that I could put F6 wheels on the missus XR6T but since it's not an FPV that might be a fail.... Oh yes my XP ute has a V8 but since XPs were never equipped with V8s that might be a fail if we really want to nitpick..... V6 Commodores with Chev badges and altezza taillights are extremely lame, but so common that the mention of them is a fail.

time to move on

Like the look of it?!!! Look at the wing! And that stupid fake scoop on the bonnet.... horrendous. It's a pov-pack GLi with XR front end and the paint match up is really bad.

Take off the bonnet scoop, add some better wheels and a new paint job....
It would be a win.... obviously a work in progress.....

We have all been there at some stage.....
