Hello All,
New to this forum. I really appreciate the support given by those in the know to those really wanting to know... Some history...., On order - FG X XR8. Man trans, white.... Current - Triton Ute (daily driver - tows the boat and gets dirty. Just like those sacrificial anodes on outboards..) Recent - LV Mk II XR5 Past - WS Fiesta, VW Polo GTI, VS Commodore Exec VS 5.0L, VR V6, Corona's, Corolla's, Valiants, Chargers... last but not least - first car... mini... back in 1986... That's my rap sheet... Sorry... one more... 1972 Mazda Capella... not technically mine.. My sister's. I owned after I paid her out on it... after I rolled it... Cheers Rob |

Hey guys, I recently purchased a BF Mk2 XR6 Turbo Ute 6 Speed auto and im loving it. First registered 4/08 and only 68k on it still drives like new
Its silhouette Craig Lowndes edition .. Not really what i was after, terrible color to keep clean but does look amazing when its shiny. Also didn't want a hard top and wing but it was a great price and low k's so couldn't knock it back. Already bought some ladder racks for it, just have to decide how to store / sell the hard cover and get a suitable tonneau cover made up for it. By the way great site with some great info on it, keep up the good work ! |

I'm trying to install a baby seat into a Ford Territory. To do this you have to adjust the seat belt, that ties in the baby seat, so that the inertia function doesn't operate. It has to be a fixed belt and not an inertia belt. Does anyone know how to make this adjustment on a Territory seat belt?
Cheers Jim |

Hi to all, I'm a proud owner of an 91 EB XR8 , its a great looking car in good condition , however its developed a missfire under cruise and i'm hoping that someone out there might have the answer, here's a run down of what I've done so far to try to fix, Changed plugs, coil, cap & rotor , hallafex pickup , ignition module, oxy sensors , mass air flow meter , TPS ,plenum gasket , fuel pump & filter , replaced all worn looking vac hoses , have sprayed around intake with arostart looking for vac leaks but no luck .
Engine is 5.0 V8 winsor and idles smooth , has heaps of power when under load , but misses when cruiseing between 70 & 100 km. Please can someone tell me whats going on, I'm at my wits end |

Hi at Ford Forums,
I have a standard fb ute from new, and just learning some service techniques on the vehicle, etc. I have always serviced all my own vehicles and it is interesting to get others ideas on various requirements and how they go about things. Regards to the forum. |

Hi All
I have an 09 FG XR8 ute in standard trim and factory optioned 18" rims. Both my front tyres have scrubbed out the inside edges with a bit under half tread left on the rest of the tyres. My local tyre house informs me that he can redo the alignment but they will still scrub the in side edges due to the camber settings that he has very little adjustment on. He claims he see's this quite regularly with later mod cars and that its's part of the geometry that make the vehicle handle so well. I have to agree with the handling part as this vehicle sticks to the road like glue and steers beautifully. Can anyone else corroborate these claims or am I being fed a line? |

G'day all, just joined the forum a few weeks back and it's promted me to say howdy.
Been a racing fanatic in fords for a couple of decades now and (sorta) retired in 2010. Current rides include my FG ute (Kermit) FG Sedan, and a various assortment of cars that I can't bear to sell like my old EL wagon with 600,000 km on it, my BA Classic with 300,000 and the old yella cab race car. |
