Decided to get out of the house for a bit yesterday, so the daughter, dog and I popped down to Seaspray for a walk along the beach. Merriman's creek was running, creating an exit to the ocean, so there were about 10 or so parties taking advantage of the ease of access for their tinnies. And the ocean was the flattest I had ever seen it.
Anyway, we crossed the creek to walk on the other side, which apparently no one had done for quite some time as there was not even any footprints in the sand. Literally felt like we were the only people on the whole 90 miles of beach. Who needs the Gold Coast when you have this?  The dog enjoyed her run on the beach, too, it seems

Ahhhh copy grasshopper , i copied them from my bookface then moved pic's to a designated folder when i had time and it obviously breaks the links like it used to in Photobucket .
I Shall stop doing that LOL

Went to Lakes Entrance for the day yesterday. Place was PACKED. Could hardly find a spare car park anywhere along the Esplenade.
This shot shows the stark contrast between the walk on the beach at Seaspray on Friday versus the main surf beach at Lakes yesterday. The beach at Lakes did feel like I was on the Gold Coast
