Got them home and opened them up, no side brackets, so I screen shotted the passage on their website that mentioned them being included and sent Stedi an email enquiring about the missing brackets.

Got an email back today...

Q: Hi, I just bought 2 of your 4.6" work lights, on your website, under the heading 'key technical breakdown' it says slide mounts and stainless steel side mounts included however in the boxes there are no stainless steel side mounts.
11/05/22
A: Hi Steve, The ST3301 Pro 4.6" lights come with the sliding bottom bracket. The side brackets can be ordered seperately - stedi.com.au/side-brackets-for-led-light-bars-brushed-stainless-59mm-profile.html

Clicked on the link for the lights included with the email and they've since changed the wording from 'included' to 'sold separately'.

https://i.postimg.cc/9MqNxWwF/Screen...g-Internet.jpg

They want another $20 for the brackets per light so i fired back an email suggesting fraud and misrepresentation under consumer law, will see what they say.
*Update*

Received a message back from Stedi to say they'll honour the original advertising and will arrange 2 sets of the side brackets for me.

Good customer service in the end, will definitely continue to use Stedi for the rest of my lighting requirements.

Ordered some rego plates on the 24th of last month.
10 working days is what the wait is.
Wait wait
Ring them today wondering why so long.
On hold, keypad menu fun, hold, hold.
Yeah they are ready.
So you weren't going to inform me?
No. You just come in.

If I had walked in to their offices unannounced you know those plates were not gonna be ready.

Anyway they are on, happy days.
Also, the guy parked next to me removing his plates from his FG made comment on the AU....tells me he loves his Falcons, AU's are the best, they drive like your in a comfy loungechair and nobody gets how good they are. Ha, he got it about right I reckon.

I hate plumbing. Had to do some basic plumbing today. Nothing that is the reason why plumbers are plumbers and they get paid to do it. Basic washer and O ring stuff but had to replace the thing of the thing because that was stuffed. Got the job done, it wasnt that hard. Wasnt that expensive either even paying the bunnings tax. The added bunnings tax i was dissapointed about. They had no umbrellas. They did have the $1.49 dust pan and brush. Cant leave without that.

I was in “Permanent Painted Coatings” the other day and the owners told me they‘d had to put their much loved dog down. At twelve, apparently he’d lost nearly all mobility and had no real quality of life. Quite sad, he was a regular fixture in the shop for years; you walked in, waited for the dog to say hello, and then spoke with the staff.

He must've been hiding or asleep when I was there a few years ago.

I was only there once, went there to get a dye match for my steering wheel and seats.

It wasn't a Golden retriever type was it? or am I thinking of somewhere else.

So I received the parcel from Stedi yesterday to find only 1 set of brackets had been sent instead of 2 sets.
Sent an email notifying them and received a reply apologising for the mistake and another in the mail.

After the initial concern with them changing the wording of their product advertising, Im actually quite impressed by their commitment to rectifying the issue.

When you consume a packet of smarties, m&ms, malteasers, etc, two at a time (coz you're OCD) and you're left with the solitary one at the end. Oh the dilemma, do you waste it or break your 'rules' and consume it, too?

Surely you keep buying packets until you get another with uneven numbers?

Surely!

But is there an even number of smarties in that 4.2kg? If not, I'd have to buy another 4.2kg to, hopefully, get another odd number. This could get expensive!

My father, an instro in the RAAF for over 20 years, always said he could never understand why someone would choose to jump out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft.

I tend to agree

Do you fill your car to an even number on the bowser? Only get out of bed on an even time? Hang your socks with toes all pointing the same way and matching colour pegs?

Or have I just given you new things to worry about? #sockpolice

My eldest son is one of those even number freaks.
When he comes around I deliberately make sure the telly volume is on an odd number.
Does that make me bad?
I think not as I love stirring him.

Default Re: Geez! I hate that!

I have a new neighbor in the street who moved in while I was on holiday leave a few weeks ago. The house directly across the road from me, which you will often see in my car washing pics, is currently un-occupied due to the owners ill health, having been living with her daughter in Melbourne since last September.

The new neighbor moved into the house on the right of the un-occupied house. I have not me the new girl and only really given her a friendly wave so far. Unlike a few key people in the street, I don't have the time or inclination to find out the life stories of my various neighbors.

The lady who has been ill will most likely never return but I have been collecting and forwarding mail, watering the garden, mowing the lawns and feeding a couple of stray cats that made the place home. I do this as a good deed, I care about the Jan and really miss our weekly chat. I asked if she minded me parking a car in her driveway from time to time, mainly when I'm detailing and need the driveway for washing. I was told that "I didn't need to ask, of course you can". If it makes the place look like someone is actually home, then that's a good thing. As such, me parking a car over the road once a week for a few hours is a trade for the time I spend over there.

Well, someone in the street (I likely know who it was, she has a bad case of short-mans syndrome and a high level of self importance) has said to the new neighbor that she can let her friend park in Jan's driveway overnight. I think this is very cheeky.

I suppose the nosey neighbor has seen me parking in Jan's driveway enough to think that gesture can be extended to other people in the street, as if to insinuate that I am taking advantage of the situation. What that nosey neighbor doesn't see is the countless hours of mowing, watering and mail collecting that I do for free, out of the goodness of my heart.

I know this is a trivial thing, but it really annoys me. What if Jan and her daughter arrive home to find someone else's car is blocking access to THEIR driveway.

I wish people would mind their own dam business! One of these days, there are a few people in this street that are going to be put back in their places!
