It looks like I have both my neighbours on board to replace our side fences. About $1600 all in, add to cart, checkout no brainer
The body corp going to do the front and back despite them saying they are not responsible before there was even the group buy. I know this because I went back and forth with them. The law says it so but **** it we have got it over the line And my neighbour who has a kid who kicks **** against the fence and breaks it, I told them already if you don't put something in front of it, it will drive you ****en crazy. I know because my parents hated it and my brother somehow crashed a motorbike into it but we belted it out. Different bang between Colorbond and timber |

After not running right last week, my up-cycled Stihl blower now does what it should. I think blowing out the primer base with 100PSI might have been a little harsh on a rubber check valve, but it’s seemingly settled down. Total spend to date: $34.50 plus fuel. Who doesn’t like hearing a blower at 9PM, anyway?

…Just found home-drawn wiring schematic from October last year, that I really needed. Has saved a couple of hours in buzzing out wires with a multimeter.

Second part, I booked a flight to Broome for end of the month to meet up with my daughter who I haven't seen for nearly a year. She's picking me up at the airport, then 4 hour drive to Fitzroy Crossing where she and her partner are Rangers at Geikie Gorge National Park. The Mrs and her sister are going to meet me there and we're going to do 10 days of volunteer work in the park, along with some barra fishing oh and some drinking, eating damper etc. Tough gig.

Was wondering if I could send mine to join them, since coming back from the top end, she’s complained about the cold, had Covid, then the flu and is back to complaining about the cold.

Not the greatest timing, but ive been off the tools for a while. Just nodded off, ignored a text, ignored the first phonecall, but the second was in quick succession so i answered it. It was me mate. He had a dicky light switch. His description sounded a tad odd. Buzzing when turned off, but fine when turned on. So im an electrician by trade, and my mates land lord. So hardest part was putting my pants on to go check it out.
So yeah it was a bit weird a light switch failing when turned off, but it did. Simple fix, change the mech. But i did get to bust out my trusty toolbelt for the first time in a long time. My mate wasnt hovering per say, but little questions like why did i run my mate stanley around the plate before taking it off the wall, stuff like that. Simple answer was as not to tear the paint as the plate was obviously on before the wall was re painted. Other thing was when i was putting the plate back on the wall, i was questioned as to why i am/was so anal about getting it 100% level? I dont like to call it being anal. Id rather call it doing a good job. But hey, its been a while, but i havent lost it. |

Gave my very first blood donation this arvo. If you've done a blood sample before, you can give a blood donation, as its essentially the same thing.
Not sure why it's taken me so long to get around to it. Added benefit is I'll find out what blood type I am Makes me feel good that such little inconvenience to me can help so many.

Platelet and plasma donations should be considered by people too, these are very handy for cancer patients (speaking from experience).

I'd like to donate plasma and platelet, but, unfortunately, the donor centre in my town is the mobile centre and only takes blood. Traralgon, 50km down the road from me, have a permanent centre and also take plasma. The nearest place to me that takes platelet is Melbourne, about 2 hours away. Unfortunately, that's not very practical for me.

A win for Mr B Collaery.
Juxtaposition of the name Dreyfus makes it even better. |

I like to clean my bathrooms once a week. Even though I had last week off, I never had the opportunity to get my bathroom cleaned. But, got it done last night, between a run and getting dinner sorted. Should make cleaning it this weekend even easier
I know it's a small thing, but I think it's important to celebrate the wins, no matter how big or small.

But, it also means that my blood is pretty versatile. My blood can be used for those who have either A+ or AB+ blood. And my plasma can be used for those who have A+, A-, O+ and O- blood. I'm feeling so good about this that I have organised with a fellow work colleague, who has never donated blood either, to go into the Traralgon donor centre when I'm back on site and eligible to donate plasma again (early August) and provide a plasma donation.

Couldn't stand the added cost i have been burdened with at the pump, so i fitted a ball bearing turbo to my rig instead of the thrust bearing type that has adorned this thing since it was std.
Took a little bit of thought and engineering to plumb the coolant from the intake passages that once fed the egr brick in the valley, but it looks almost completely stock now, except for 11 fins in the Garrett instead of 7 . Of course the extra stonk now means i need to use the throttle much less so win win right ?? Damn i crack myself up i need to update my sig also. I now have 275 awhp from a 3.0L V6 Diesel !! |

I normally jump at the chance to help people with their detailing questions.
On another forum, I started to compile a reply to a question about dealing with a particular issue. Then I remembered that person had made some derogatory comments in another unrelated thread. It felt good to remember that and not bother answering his question. What is it they say? What goes around, comes around.

Beaut sunny day out at Winton raceway. Great truck show and Supertruck racing.
Wake up and smell the diesel. 2 Mack Superliners dominated the field this time out. Kenworth's on show 2020 and 1979.
