Considering they don't make them any more it's a fair starting price seeing that there are barely any parts that have to be found.
The market will dictate as to what it is worth when the auction finishes.

Have seen a lot worse advertised.

We just bought an XB coupe which came with not much more that the basic shell. Has heaps of bits with it but either crap or from xc. Not much rust though. We have to find everything. It's all fun

Nice car, but why do people always make the mistake of painting rocker covers blue on k code and y code cars. Even the air cleaner cover should be orangy red per factory. Otherwise a very well presented vehicle

What in particular Mark? I am curious

Does it look misaligned or out of whack or something?

As a non-coupe owner I cant easily spot these things!

The gap between the bottom lip of the lid and the tailight panel, as well as how much higher it is than the top of the 1/4 panels.

Thanks George. I think I have priced this more than reasonably. Turn key coupe in immaculate condition. The market will ultimately decide if I have been reasonable and realistic enough.

I've thrown an ad in the for sale section on AFF.

I have no idea what Platinum Blue looks like either I would love to see it, it was repainted in Blue Steel. The paint looks good from afar but get up close and you can pick it to bits if it had an excellent paint job and some bumps smoothed out on it I would have advertised it for alot more but it needs to go to a good home where it will actually see some road time and hopefully I can see it again. After nearly 24years off the road except for it's brief blat for 15 minutes the day I got it rerego'd in 06 it hasn't seen much light of day. At that time the fiance said enough spending on that car save for a wedding and now the wife says no spending on that car it's got to go on the mortgage.

Thanks GTXB67

Know the colour very well, just never knew the name!

XC Coupes can look very tough with either headlights actually.

As for Blue steel......

Well here is the Scam I heard about thank god, just warning anyone else don't fall for this. Lucky I had a coupe expert come around to check out my car for an interstate buyer and told me don't fall for this, god bless him.

From: Sean Combs (seancoms1@live.com)
Sent: Tuesday, 22 December 2009 11:36:58 PM
To: jasmin.gigg@hotmail.com
Thanks for the mail and am willing to offer you $21,500 for the Car ..I will like to buy it now,i am buying it for my dad and i am at sea at the moment as i am a marine engineer and i really want it to be a surprise for my dad so i won't let him know about it until it gets delivered to him,i am sure he will be more than happy with it .I insisted on PayPal because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my PayPal account,as i have my bank a/c attached to it,i will need you to give me your PayPal email address and the total amount am paying you. Pls if you don't have PayPal account yet, it is very easy to set up, go to www.paypal.com.au and get it set up , after you have set it up i will only need the e-mail address you use for registration with PayPal so as to put the money through.I have a pick up agent that will come and pick this up after i have made the payments...

I would have loved to talk to you on phone but i am a marine engineer I work mainly on sea, our phone is down on the sea right now due to bad weather, we can only communicate with our base for now.

Thanks !!
Sean
