Should throw the GBU's up on the F-111 Peuty....a more common F-111 weapons config.... bit more of an Aussie feel

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Another new arrival in my 1:200 fleet. It is sad I can't show all my models. I have about 40 still boxed up from when I had them on display.

TAA 727-100. Originally I bought this model in May, but my supplier sent them all back to the manufacturer for painting marone instaed of blue on the wing tips, so I have been waiting for it back.

Good stuff mate. Is that the Detolf? I have two of those for my models as well.

Keep an eye out though, as they have them on special for $99 sometimes, incase you ever need a second one.

Heres a few snaps from my travels

Very good and informative little Tiger Moth display at Nerrandera, NSW.

747 at the great Qantas museum at Longreach.

Two of the more sexy displays at the excellent Aviation Heritage Museum at Darwin. B52 & Mirage.

Neat, a plane thread! I muck around a little with photography so thought I might share just some of my favs from Williamtown airshow, and just some general spotting out at the base over the last couple of years. For anyone who was at the show, it was great on Saturday, horrible on Sunday.

Hopefully I haven't broken any forum rules by posting too many in one post?

I would say not - excellent shots.
Looks like half the guys from Temora were there as well as 'Snifter' the 51D from Cabulture.

Yep it is the detolf. I am looking into some clips you can get to install extra shelves. My aim by the end of 2011 is to have 100 models (although knowing me I will go beyond the 100 mark ) , I currently have 51 with about 4 more to come before christmas. As for the Detolf being $99, unfortunitely I have to purchase it at whatever price it is when I can organize someone to bring it here. I am 400km from Ikea.

Thaks burnout, glad you like them. Yes there were a heap of Temora ships there, and of course Mat Hall was doing the flying in Snifter, as well as an amazing aero display, as you would expect from him!

Here's another batch. Hope you guys are on high speed! I really should get a pro account on flickr one day as I have maxxed out my account!
