yep you missed a lot of fun - i wish i took some photo's of all the dodgy VN's driving around. There was one young guy with a VZ commo ute - he passed the bar we were at on saturday night what would have been about 15 times - then passed the show about 4-5 times on sunday and finally came down and had a look.
I would have loved to get a photo of the white VK with a GT style wing and blue panel trim on it but i never had the camera on when it passed me :( we all had a good laugh about that one

Hey Gordz, nice ones.
The pic with the Ute and the backdrop, is that a "terrorist" dish setup? Looks like they tried to hide it in that tree ..You know, extra camo for the DIY'er! Lookie that, cop pulled you over. Jail for you, loose another 12 demerit points. Ahaha. Nice job to the cop car tho, brave move. ahaha. |

What an absolute awesome weekend, it was so great to catch up with some familiar faces and to meet some new ones.
I had so much fun, ate and drank WAY too much, played with our cars and gave a heap of money to the car wash. Those who missed out missed out BIG TIME. A special thank you to Daniel for organising a fantastic meeting and playing host to us all. Well done mate, you should be proud of what you achieved. I managed to edge out the competition and won the "Best Ford XR6 Turbo" category. It was a nail biting finish, but I was victorious. :P Wish I had another day off to recover though.

I think GORDZ liked doing circles ALOT
Anyways... for the next motor meet, lets decide on location... Whether its going to be "Parkes Motor Meet 2009" or whether Gordz is going to take the reins and make it "Shepparton Motor Meet 2009"... (I got soo many more ideas for the show for next year... and most of the ground works been organised already... Not to mention the local car club are keen on consolidating the shows... We could have the show and shine the same day as them and have our own little Bseries Corner (even alls good we could make it our own BIG BSeries corner...))

:ticking: well i think it started at parkes and word of mouth travels. so its maybe best to keep it in parkes, not having a problem in shep but i think everyone can get confused on location swap each year, keep it in parks you have support from local clubs and it will get bigger each year. might change the date for around xmas time or long weekend when weather is warmer and people come out of there caves to enjoy the sun.. also alot of guys have xmas break too as some companys shut over xmas new year.parks summer nat lol.. also its easy to get to from the 3 states who knows next year you might have 150 more cars there. good luck on deciding on location but i vote for parks cheers
