So the next falcon will not have an electronic hand brake? not to be a pain and compare it to the commodore but the VF sv6 has an electronic hand brake does it not?
Your computer skills are amazing man, no offense at all but i hope the back looks a little different from that personally. I see you edited the taillights making them straight at the base. If I'm not mistaken apparently the FG taillights are supposed to be designed to look like the Falcon bird's beak that's why it has such a unique shape, your editing skills look crazy nonetheless.

Would the current falcon IRS cradle be able to utilise a electronic hand break set up?

Yeah I'd have to disagree on that one, new is new , changing one or two things on an existing interior is not new, it's updated, and given that realistically all that's getting done is some new fabrics and a change to the shape of the dash spear I'd hardly calling that new. . . . Having said that the FG interior is still a fantastic looking interior IMO

FG interior is a nice place to be. It's simple, well finished and squeak and rattle free. Looks a treat with the gloss black finish; I don't know how some people can say the gloss black looks cheap.

Problem with "new" is, people assume that it means "all new" and expect to see wholesale changes over the out going model, example being the VF. When people here the falcon will get a "new" interior, that's the expectation.
Then people get let down when they see the "new" interior is a change in dash plastics and different stitching...

I think some don't like the 'gloss black' because they think it smudges and scratches :/.
Ford already mentioned in the first teaser (October 2012) that it was "The next evolution of a true Australian icon". No changes to the design since then has changed only a few minor tweaks and improvements during 2013, sticking to the same budget announced back in February 2012. |

My money is on them surprising us with a G8E model alongside the G6ET.
Admittedly unlikely but I could see that being one of the more popular models.

I honestly don't really like the idea of an electronic handbrake, at least with the current mechanical handbrake setup ya can feel when it is on properly.

And it would sell like GTE and Force 8 and TS50 before it. Don't get me wrong, I love those cars. I own 2 out of 3 of them and I'd a have Force anytime, but they never sold well. FoA need to focus on volume to keep the doors open.

I can stop the auto-up windows in my 3-series with my pinky finger in the way as resistance. It baffles me that you can buy a car in 2014 without auto-up windows on all four doors. I reckon I use that feature twice a day in summer.

I have used the auto up in a *cough* Camry and don't like it at all! trying to get the thing to stop with a gap at the top was frustrating to the max as that is how I like to drive. But then thats me and I get annoyed easily.

How would an electrical handbrake setup work in a scenario where you are going up or down a very steep ramp and need to have handbrake half on or half off to prevent rolling?

On the other hand, auto-up is great for people like me who always drive with the a/c on and windows wound up. For me, when getting in and out of the car park, having auto-up windows means that once I've wound down the window to get the ticket, I only need one press of a button to wind up the window again as I drive off, rather than having to hold it down for 5 seconds and having to try to turn the steering wheel with one hand.

Same with the corolla with auto up and auto down on the driver's window. It's very difficult to get it to the "vent" position, trying to get the window to open just a few cm can take a few goes and a bit of cursing.
