I've already got my expression of interest in at Sinclair Ford for an FPV sometime in the 2014 to 2016 period; we're just hoping Ford will do something "special" during that time. If they do I'll go thru with it. If they don't we'll let it slide and see what's on offer from Ford in the way of "V8 performance".

It should be taking after the 2015 Mustang, or Mondeo, not the Taurus.

Actually scratch that, being the last model they should go all out, I don't want to see watered down global design themes. Surely being the final model frees up some creativity?

By the looks of the previews it looks like it will be more of the Mondeo/Fusion with the Taurus grill, just hope the rear end looks something like this

Grille looks more like the Taurus SHO, which is what I heard someone say the 2014 looks like, but more aggressive.

I wonder if the preview was of a XR version, the lights look like a modern take on the traditional twin lights...

My feelings are that the new falcon will look to be something similiar to this, which will therfore lead into this car being the main stream vehicle in the future. In a way conditioning us to this look before the Falcon in nomore. |

Yeah I doubt it will be just a Mondeo rear sticky-taped onto FG body.
The front from what we can see in the teaser appears to be both uniquely Falcon, while succesfully incoporating the corporate look. I'm sure the rear will be great. Won't be hard to wallop VF looks-wise, with its dopy-looking rear with too much unused space. |

More than 12 months to go, so plenty of time for more tittilation.

It would make sense for the final Falcon to be a transitional form to the Mondeo if the Mondeo is going to replace the Falcon.
