hmmm I like the headlights and upper grille on the photoshopped falcon above ^^^. But the lower grill just doesnt suit it IMO
Maybe if it were a little smaller and incorporated the honeycomb plastic that we love

They should do what Kia does with its sportage and offer chunky alloy side steps, lip spoilers and nudge bars as an option. Heated/cooled seats etc. People like the gimmicks these days not the best pic but you get the idea

What model Territory is this though? If you look at the SY MK2 Ghia they have chrome around the bottom half of the side windows and also across the back door etc.. (I'm not sure but I cannot see chrome around windows). Just makes me think that this maybe just a TS equivalent model with Ghia wheels? I could be wrong though. |

The new grille REALLY suits the pre-existing FPV bumper!
For better differentiation between Ford and FPV, could the normal Falcons have a MC Mondeo face? |

and perhaps adding those diagonal colour struts into big void below bumper. Maybe a nice person skilled with photo shop could give us a Focus inspired front: |

Love the rear end.
Guess it turned out better than what most of us thought it would. If i dissed it earlier, i eat my words.

Most people that casually look at cars will look at the back and yes, they will see the similarities but what happens is that the tail lights are so different, it draws their attention from what looks the same to what has changed. Don't be surprised if people think the vehicle is changed much more than it is, combine that radical front with subtle rear changes and refreshed interior and most casual observers will think there's been a awful lot of changes there. That's why I'm thinking Ford will pull this off..... Merry Christmas everyone, John Last edited by jpd80; 24-12-2010 at 08:27 PM. |

I agree jpd80 and considering the interior is not a direct copy of the FG plus gains some features not seen on a locally built car, it's not going to be a "hohum seen it all before" type of first impression.

It's a bold looking front end. Little lower with some bigger wheels and you've got a pretty handsome looking car.

I can't beleive how much the look of the new Territory has grown on me since the pics of the black one surfaced. I was very sceptical of the white one but in black it looks awesome. I agree RW, it certainly makes the current Territory look dated and frumpy.
BTW the orange FPV chop looks extremely angry. Which is a good thing. I like, it looks great in my opinion. The raccoon eyes might need a little work however. Please god though don't put that Focus front on the Falcon. In the pics in my opinion it looks |

Not liking it so far, but will wait for it in the flesh. The front and back look fast whereas from the C pillar to the A pillar it looks slow. If you get what I'm saying...

well saw my first in the wild spotting, a black TX on the pacific hwy north coast nsw at macksville on the skinny bridge as it crosses the river. It looked handsome, much less in your face than what pics had led me to believe. The taillights looked good too in real life, the one thing it needs is rear ornamentation, like a chrome strip or something on the back. A good looking car.
